Quite a fun house
Jana DeLeon is a master of mystery and fun. Lots of twists and turns in the mystery, but the antics of Swamp Team Three investigations will leave you laughing. Cassandra Campbell provides an excellent performance; she masters all the characters voices and nuances.

Loved it
The narrator is great with the voices. You can tell which character is speaking without being told who it is. However, someone really needs to tell her it's LeBlanc not LeBlank. I cringe every time she says LeBlank.

Best Series Ever
Out of the over 700 books I own, this series is the best. I think if they made a TV series from them it would be awesome.

Loads of fun!
When the traveling carnival stops in Sinful there's fun and games and dead bodies,...and funnel cake. When the dead bodies can't be identified and Carter is off the investigation since his mom has been hurt - he's too close to the case - it's up to Fortune, Gertie and Ida-Belle to find out what's really going on.
IMO this was the 2nd funniest Fortune book - the first was The Christmas book - both times Francis the parrot steals the show and cracks me up!

Good but Not the Best of the Series
I love this series and listen to it over and over. I enjoyed this new book but it isn't one of the best in the series. It feels like someone else wrote the book; almost formulaic in its use of the characters and plot. I read that Jana is sick. Perhaps she needed some help to get this book out and continue the series. I am so happy this series continues on and will gratefully accept a 4 star book to get more of these wonderful characters! My FAV series! My best wishes for good health to Jana! 🙂
