Lovely story on family and friendship

This story was gifted to me through audio books and loved it

This story was sweet and had me hooked the moment I imagined Nancy in the mini mart being taken for granted. I loved the relationship she has with her sister and Dan her bff. I definitely loved that she took advantage of the opportunity that Ty offered her even though she was hesitant and worried. I loved the traveling they did too.

A story of developing relationships in a setting of work competition

The characters were believable although somewhat predictable. I gave the book a four star rating because the food truck competition needed more detail. This book was a delight to read and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a romance. I received this book free for an honest review.

Happy endings and cute babies? Squee!

This book is both a literal and figurative journey of self discovery for several of the characters, and it's fun to listen to how it all plays out. I think a lot of us have those unconscious prejudices that make us uncomfortable when their existence is made clear to us, and I enjoyed being along for the ride as Nancy and the others discovered, challenged, and overcame the ones that were unnecessarily complicating their lives. #AudiobookObsession #AuralFixation

Something different

Well I’ve never read/listened to anything like this book before. It’s a good storyline with good characters, I did get a little lost with all the different characters at one point. Good narration.

relationships

The story is largely about relationships, starting, ending, changing, growing, redefined. Characters learn life lessons and about themselves and their needs It was too much material for one book and should have been two books. The narrator was okay.

Great!

I really enjoyed this! It gave the whole story without jumping around and getting confusing! Food Truck Baby follows a group during a food truck competition, we get to listen to the entire journey from beginning to end and even all the great stuff in between! The narration is great, but tends to be a bit quiet. I often had to turn up the volume to hear. Other than that it was fantastic!

Great story!

I enjoyed the storylines in this book. The new couple falling in love. The married couple getting closer and balancing their life with the new baby. The couple growing and admitting thwir feeling for one another.
The kids were a gokd addition to the storyline not a hinderance.

There were a few hiccups in the reading, several repeated lines but they didnt detract from the story.

Interesting Story

This was a sweet story. I really liked Ty, she was my favourite in the story. I enjoyed joining all of these characters on their journey as they learned about themselves and grew
The narration wasn't fantastic and was pretty quiet but it was still an enjoyable listen.

Narration was rough

The story line and characters in this book were interesting. However, I had a hard time with the narration. Everything sounded like a question and there was so much explaining basic human emotions, repetition, and "telling vs showing" that it all felt a little robotic. I think in written form I would have enjoyed this novel more as my brain would have skimmed through those parts whereas the narration forced me to process all of it.

Disappointing

I received this as a free download for review.
Sadly, the story was not to my taste, and I did not enjoy the narration at all - partly because I am from the UK, and find Victoria Robinson's american accent difficult.
