Publisher's Summary

A desperate underground war with the survival of millions at stake looms in the electrifying conclusion of the New York Times bestselling Bishop Files Trilogy.

Tasha Solomon’s world turned upside-down when the psychic abilities she had tried so hard to live with in secret suddenly made her a target stalked by unseen enemies.

John Brodie is by nature, by training, and by instinct a Guardian. He is a member of an intricate and secretive network of individuals who have devoted their lives to the deadly struggle of saving psychics in danger of being taken or being killed. It is a war very few other people even know exists, and yet its tentacles stretch deeply and dangerously into every aspect of society.

Tasha has abilities not even she is aware of, abilities that the other side would give virtually all they possess to destroy. And if being hunted like an animal were not bad enough she has to learn how to become a warrior in a battle she did not choose, to save people she does not know, and possibly even the very world around her.

If John Brodie can keep her alive long enough.

Far fetched

little far-fetched for me. I've heard a lot of her books and I've loved them but this one was just too far out there did not enjoy it all

Not the best

I was so excited for this book to come out to complete the trilogy but was very disappointed. I wanted a book about psychics and it turned out about aliens...total let down.

A little disappointed

I loved this series when the people were using their psychic powers to solve a murder mystery but I wasn't happy with how the series has went to include aliens. I am kind of disappointed.

Worst Kay Hooper book I ever read

And I have read all of them. The plot and characters were not fully developed and it was confusing to follow. I found myself skipping some just to finish.

Confused where did the aliens come from?

I have read or listened to every book in this series. I felt like I had missed a book somewhere. Aliens what the what? How did the series make the leap from evil serial killers to aliens? insisting that shadows was hiding this alien race is so lame when we had been led to believe these shadows were demonic. Did Kay Hooper write this book is this the end of the Bishop series, cause what just happened?

Very interesting twists

I love Kay Hooper’s Bishop Files. At first I didn’t like the narrator’s voice for Murphy but got used to it.
Highly recommend

The coming of all of Bishops friends.

I did struggle with this book. Not due to author as much as my feeling of having read most of Her stories and felt they were becoming repetitive. I like.the use of characters abilities.

A Little Disappointing

I really liked the first book of the series. She took her time to develop the plot and lay out the groundwork for the story. Book 2 was way too short and barely touched the surface of the storyline. Book 3 is rushed, leaves a lot of questions and instead of developing the storyline gradually, I felt like she might've gotten bored with writing the storyline and did the big reveal all at one time in a discussion among characters without actually making it revealed in parts of the story by actions. The end was anti-climatic. I love love love Kay Hooper so I was really disappointed by this series.
