Edge of your seat

Loved every minute. Lots of twists and turns out of every day ways to look at things. This book makes you wonder how much we miss in life. Fantastic performance.

Exiting and a touch of romance

Loved it can't wait to listen to book two. I had to think hard to figure out the ending.

Main character is a little annoying

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I did like the story line but the main character had a little bit of a persecution complex. Everyone is trying to "use" her because of her "gift". They want to make her be part of the investigation. She’s not too likable despite her overcoming a disability. I did like hearing the observation skills on things that everyone else would have probably overlooked. I’m not sure I would buy another book about this character.

I love the characters in this book!! I listen every night to Kendra's exploits. Yes, that means I have been through this series many times.

EXCELLENT START TO A GREAT SERIES!!!

I don't know why the ratings aren't a little higher for this book. The story was very in-depth and the characters extremely interesting. The narrator was a perfect choice. The main character, Kendra Michaels, truly makes this story so interesting. At the end of the story, I'm excited about moving on to the next release in the series.

Love surprise endings

Kept moving and did not bog down. Was hoping this would be a series. Will look for more mysteries from these authors. Appreciated no foul language or expletive bedroom scenes.

Johansens did NOT disappoint!

Loved the use of Kendra Micheals' extraordinary abilities from being born blind still weave in to how she sees the world after getting a stem cell Tx that gave her ability to see now. She is not at all meal or worried about what other people care as her goal is to get the job done wirh the least amount of arguing with her by she's always right anyway. Lol

This is a good one!

I enjoyed Elisabeth Rodgers narration once again...she does an excellent job with voices and inflections. I liked the story but would have wished for a more romantic ending. They'd lead up to it but then mess it up. It's good to be a strong woman, but Kendra had almost any sort of issue with compliments thinking everyone wanted to use her. She was mostly always angry. I would have liked for her to be a bit more accepting and not so defensive, maybe even softer. I think they could have had the same plot and outcome even then. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the story. Good plot, good surprises, twists and turns with a happy ending. It would be interesting to know if there are people who can do what Kendra could do with her 5 senses. Pretty amazing. I wish there was a sequel to finish or continue with Kendra & Leach's story.
