James Hart is a twenty eight year old outstanding citizen of Los Angeles, California. He loves the law and became a detective to help uphold it. Melanie was recently abandoned by her husband and has grown closer to James however, she does not fully understand his sexuality. Just when he thinks things couldn't get more complex, James begins to get routine visits from the one person he never expected.

Well written and read by the perfect voice

My attention was captured immediately. The author does a great job setting the scene and getting you involved from the very begging. Also what a handsome voice that was chosen to read the book.

LOVE IT

So excited!! I absolutely love this author- I’ve read the whole Ace of Hearts series in book form and just now saw they are coming out on audible. I cannot wait to dive into this book and hear the characters come to life. A friend has already begun the book and said the main character sounds exactly as he did her her head while she read so I’m really looking forward to this. The story is such a page-turner, and truly kept me guessing the whole way thru. Give this series a try- you won’t regret it!

This story is so well written and I love the narrators voice! If you want to hear a juicy story, I highly recommend!

What a thriller

Had me continuous looking forward to the next chapter. I listen on my car rides to and from work. I found my safe stopping at yellow lights just to give myself a little more time to listen.

True Page Turner

I am so happy I read this during my summer break because I could not put this book down! I felt totally invested in this storyline and felt like I knew each character. This is definitely a must read.

Great story,The narrator’s voice is sexy and keeps me listening. I love that this story educates on the LGBTQIA + community and life style. The characters in this story are very entertaining. I look forward to the next 3 books dropping soon!

Initial Thoughts

I actually purchased and read this book a few years ago. I noticed it here on Audible and thought I'd give it a listen. I am now interested in the story all over again. I'm happy to be able to experience it in a new way. Can't wait to finish it. I'll be back to leave a more complete review once I do.

Wonderfully Engaging Read

I enjoyed navigating the world of this detective. I was pulled into the stpry from the first page and could not stop listening until the last page. The characters were well developed I felt their joys and pains. I look forward to hearing more adventures of this "Ace of Hearts" detective.
