Book 1 left me wanting more. Books 2 and 3 held me captive. Book 4 and most of this book broke me. By the end of book 5, I’d been sewn back together again. This story is spellbinding and full of so much pain, suspense and passion. Every sentence and character have a purpose to the story. Pepper Winters is a truly talented storyteller! She is detailed and describes everything with such perfection, it makes it easy to picture the unique world she has created. I felt dizzy as she took me on new heights of ecstasy, passion, and intrigue… until I finally just gave in to the rapturous raw savagery of this story. Readers, get ready for a ride that is dark, intense, raw, twisted, exhilarating, exciting, kinky, sexy, dirty, addicting, angsty, explosive, full of internal turmoil, thrilling, and scary in the most scintillating way. The narration is done in true Duet style. The flow was nothing short of amazing. Sarah Puckett embodies Eleanor and her tenacity, stubbornness, and spunky attitude. Sully is one of the darkest and most alpha characters I have met. Scott Rider couldn’t be more perfect in portraying him. Scott perfectly delivers Sully’s dark, twisted, and complex character. Sarah and Scott ARE Jinx and Sully. Sarah expertly delivers Eleanor’s anger, lust, desire, and emotional turmoil. Scott expertly delivers Sully’s raw emotions that are full of lust, anger, desire, jealousy, internal turmoil, and hardcore alpha male persona. Their duet narration plays out the story in a very realistic way and makes you love the characters even more. When I’m done with this series, I will definitely be searching for more books by these 2 narrators!

Fabulous ending to this series!

I am so sad to see these characters go. This series is what got me hooked on Pepper Winters' books. All the heartaches and twist and turns. I love these characters so much. Eleanor is such a strong character capable of great love. Such an emotional last book with all that Eleanor went through with Sully. I love how it ended and honestly could not have asked for a better ending. I love the mentions of previous characters in othe books. I am so excited for Jinx's and Sully's fantasy audibles.

Sarah Puckett and Scott Rider are amazing together. They bring Eleanor and Sully to life so well. I loved the chapters that were Sully's with just the ocean sound. These two are definitely some of my favorite narrators to listen to!

Excellent series!

Pepper Winter’s is one of those authors who rarely lets you down and this is no exception! She gives you everything you want and need. I loved this series I impatiently waited for every book to come to audible literally checking every couple days. This neatly wraps up this tale of torture, lust, and loyalty. I’m excited to hear we have a couple novellas coming that include some of of favorite characters from our other beloved stories of hers.

Perfect ending to a dark beautiful erotic love story

I read this book first because I couldn’t wait for the audio then listen to it and relive the beautiful story of Eleanor/Jinx and Sully..bought to own her and realize he loves her at first sight...Addictive, cruel, beautiful, heart wrenching and a perfect HEA to another amazing saga by Pepper Winters. She is a magician weaving these dark stories and this particular one weaves all the special couples we have known in her other equally dark beautiful stories...one of my memorable and favorite and one that I will re-listen over and over again.

Absolutely loved the collection. I love when the author has other characters from other collections jump in. Seeing how everything is connected!

Fate is Real!

No matter how dark a person’s soul is when they find their other half it will lighten! Sully and Jinx have a hard beginning but they continue to fight to come together. Pepper Winters novels might not be for everyone but I love your dark stories. They are closer to the real life the regular HEA! Please keep up the great work!

Amazing Series!

As usual, Pepper Winters knocks this series out the park. I always leave my review on the last book of the series when I listen to a series that is already complete. This one was truly amazing and heartwrenching at the same time. If you are an animal lover and have a hard time hearing about animals being tortured, this series may be difficult for you to listen to, however the hero & heroine of the book save animals. That's a silver lining. This series is dark which is why I am in love with it and in love with Pepper Winters' books. she is one of my all time favorites. The narrators were awesome and did an amazing job bringing the story to life.

Marvellous!

Great story, made even greater by the narrators. No monotone reading here. Oh no. Scott Rider was fantastic. He made you feel all the emotions. The fury and rage, the frustration, determination and passion. He conveyed it all so wonderfully. Sarah also played Eleanors strong character to perfection. I love that they acted/read their own parts. Neither having to affect the voice of the other. Makes a huge difference. Really enjoyed the series. The longer wait for the 5th book was definitely worth it.
