The very obvious love that was shared between the two couples - one starting their 'ride' together and one ending.

This book was quite hard to get into for me but I kept going and it was a lovely story. You can guess the ending but with authors like Nicholas Sparks sometimes it goes another way! Overall very enjoyable. On to the next!

I enjoyed the book. you will keep thinking how the caricature meet at the end. now I could watch the movie
Going on the rave reviews, I chose this book. What a huge disappointment! Although it was read well, the writing was sloppy, repetitive and the storyline with Luke and Sophia nauseating. After my last book - The Little Friend by Donna Tartt - which was brilliant and one I didn't want to end, this one I couldn't wait to finish it!
It was a very good book and I really enjoyed listening to it. :-) :-)
A very good story of two couples, their trials and tribulations of their own relationships. With a very nice, but sad ending.
What made the experience of listening to The Longest Ride the most enjoyable?
Story, narrating, atmosphere, passion, love... All of it mixed together made this audiobook special. Great idea to give it to two narrators...although four would be even better.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Quite a few.
Any additional comments?
Recommended for anybody, who likes nicely flowing, non-violent memoir-like stories and who does not mind a bit of romance intertwined. Although the final twist was a bit predictable, it is actually what the reader/listener wishes for an end. I am happy I convinced myself to purchase this audiobook.
Some wonderful moments of insight, reflection and wisdom are weaved through this dual love story
Thank you Nicholas for this moving novel.

This is a beautiful story of love, life and loss, an inspiring romantic novel, that has a wonderful twist that shows love is all you need and nothing else matters.
the 2 readers one for Ira, and one for everyone else made this a very enjoyable story and added a little something.
Loved every moment of this book. Very easy to listen to. Different from the movie but just as good.
This would have to be my favourite book 💗💗 I would 100% recommend this to anyone!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, I couldn't put it down. It draws you in to all the characters.
The story tied together nicely in the end with a lovely feel good message.
Enjoyable.
I love, love, loved this story. Another simply beautiful work from Sparks. The narration was a perfect match.
Wow what a great story. If you a huge romance fan this a a great book which will pull at your heart strings big time
It's pretty well what I expected...lightweight, formula fluff....but I wanted something sweet, mindless and pleasant while traveling in Africa and it was all of those.
It's a bit long tho...the Ira and Ruth parts start and midway went on and on but the narrators did a good job.
I watched the movie on the flight home....and for once didn't find it secondary to the book. Shoes the book wasn't much!
No better or worse than anything else of that genre.
