So "Thankful" I got to listen!

Book 38 and I'm still enthralled more than ever with this story. Aside from the fact that Susan Erickson is THEE best reader I've listened to for any book- Thankless in Death was one of my favorites. It really encompassed everything the Eve Dallas series is about. It was entertaining, extremely engaging- always inserting new and interesting characters (even if they do die). And the family aspect. I love this series and I really loved this book especially!

great book

i enjoy this series a lot. three narrator is exceptional and makes the story real

Good book

The story was good but it really dragged, it was a struggle to get to at times, but the ending was awesome I loved how they got surprised at the ceremony and of course cried with little nicksie.

Thankless in Death

I loved this storyline, from beginning to end. Wow the killer thought he'd actually be safe hidding right under Eve's nose, that was funny. I love the humour in the In Death books. i highly recommend this book. Fantastic narration.

Absolutely a very good book

This is one of my favorite book. I love the way she combined love, hate and kindness in this book

Great ending but I struggled with the violence

First off...Susan Ericksen is AMAZING !!! I've been working my way thru this series back to back and Ms Ericksen blows me away with the voices and accents she does.
This story has a good ending but I had to fast forward thru the torture scenes. I just couldn't listen to them.
I HATED the bad guy in this book, actually felt myself wanting to leap into the book and tell him what a pathetic $!$@ he was.
This series has had some awful bad guys (and girls) but this worthless character got to me.
Oh the emotions I felt listening to this book !!
It was nice to hear the bad guy get his at the end and agreed with every name Eve called him.
The awards and the family part at the end was heart warming (wiped a few tears on that).
On to the next one - hopefully keeping the torture scenes to a minimum
