silly

I am a fan of Joe Ledger, Capt. Nothing and Sandman Slim. This is an attempt at that type of humor. It was just an attempt that did not work for me. There were lots of dirty words, which does not bother me and lots of politically incorrect situations that I usually love. Ochse might have a future, but this sounded like something a freshman in high school would write.

To see how this is done well, read Jonthan Maberry, Joe R. Lansdale, Richard Kadry or Steve Vernon.

good book

I thought this book was very good, I wish that it could've been longer than what it was because it had my attention from beginning to end and I was laughing so hard when he got to the restaurant and didn't know the little girl was some kind of animal see why those kids wasn't scared when he had kidnapped them.

Vulgar and not enjoyable.

Vulgar and not enjoyable. This does not belong on Amazon. Not a good short story.

Fun story. A little silly for me.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes it was. It's a very short story and it was a fun listen. Perfect for Halloween.

Would you recommend Tender Hearts Taste Better in Butter to your friends? Why or why not?

If they love graphic gore this is for them.

What about Weston Ochse’s performance did you like?

The author does a marvelous job on this. Best thing about the download!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Probably not. It's fun but not my type of movie.

Any additional comments?

If you can stretch your imagination into believing that ghouls and demons are all around us, than this story is right up your alley.

Can't complain

Can't complain it being a free book and all. although the curse words were a bit much it gave the story the effect desired.

Could be better with another narrator

The narrator read way to fast. He didn't pause and inflect when necessary. The story could possibly been better understood with another narrator. I'm thinking this story would be a much better read than listen.

aggressive

I did enjoy this but the narrator really seemed to rush through it like they had a deadline so some of the sentences were hard to understand. The performance would have been excellent if the reader would have taken a breath here & there instead of speeding through it.

Poor reading

Mr Ochse made this impossible to listen to by gabbling so fast I could not keep up.

Tender Hearts with amazing taste

A short story about a kidnapping, cool, interesting and fantasy story elements and a twist buttered up nicely with a warm steaming coffee of excellent audio quality read remarkable well and welcoming to those new to audio books.

Interesting listen and only 20minutes long for short journeys or free time, well worth it :) I loved it and so far listened to it twice in only owning it for a day thus far.
