Publisher's Summary

Nothing is quite as it seems.

Expect the unexpected in this veritable treasure trove of enthralling, witty, dark tales that could only come from the imagination of the greatest storyteller of our time.

In this eerie, enchanting compilation, Stephen King takes listeners down a road less travelled (for good reason) in the blockbuster audiobook Riding the Bullet. Terror becomes deja vu all over again when you get 'That Feeling, You Can Only Say What It Is in French'.

LT's Theory of Pets will make you stop and think before giving a dog to a loved one. And there are 11 more stories that will keep you awake until dawn.

Critic Reviews

"Stephen King is blessed with an apparently inexhaustible imagination and a talent for storytelling that shows little sign of waning. In his hands at least, the art is far from being lost." ( Daily Mail)

Buy it

I thought three of these stories were incredible, they were built up well and all had the twists you expect from SK. I personally found one a little boring but that's simply my opinion and had the unexpected twist. The little sisters I found an odd entry.

Cracking

Simply an excellent set of stories, pulled off majestically. Strong characters and great stories which hook you untill the very end.

Not the full collection

The title says it is unabridged. However this is not the full collection of stories from the book. Nowhere does it state this clearly. Enjoyed the programme but will be returning as it was not what I was expecting.

Acceptable

Where does Everything's Eventual rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I will never be able to explain my love of Stephen King, but it runs deep. Adjusting for aforementioned bias, a solid 7.
Full Dark and Bazaar are better.

What did you like best about this story?

Great pacing.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not too scary, but good fiction.

Any additional comments?

If you're not a Gunslinger fan, one of the stories is in that universe and is thus tortuous to get through.
