Publisher's Summary

What can go wrong when con-mami Mink LaRue joins forces with her slick-tongued look-alike Dy-Nasty Jenkins to run a three hundred grand hustle on the super-rich Dominion oil family?

With the conniving Philadelphia stripper Dy-Nasty seeking to dip her fingers into the same pot of gold, Mink knows she has to play her hand right and hustle at the very top of her grind. But when Mink is suddenly called back home to be at the bedside of her sick mother, she is forced to leave Dy-Nasty alone at the mansion to work a solo scam on the Dominions, and possibly claim the entire jackpot for herself.

Will Dy-Nasty lie her way into the hearts of the Dominions and be declared a rightful heir to the vast family fortune? Or, will fate throw a cruel twist in the game and get both ghetto princesses kicked out of the mansion and left on the curb, dead broke?

Any additional comments?

This book was just as good as the others in the series. And just as expected, Noire does a great job with telling this story!

Love it!!!

I loved this story but the ending disappointed me. Hopefully there is a second book coming because there is absolutely no way you could leave your readers hanging like that with such an ending!!!!

REALITY SHOW IN THE MAKING

Where does Dirty Rotten Liar rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This entire series is a 10 out of 10. The characters are hilarious; a bit gutter, but likeable. I could not stop listening. I ride the bus to work and I know the people on the bus thought I was crazy; but, I found myself just LOLing (out loud and not in my head). I'm reading the last in the series and I'm going to miss them. They like family to me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dirty Rotten Liar?

That's hard to say; there were so many.

Have you listened to any of Kentra Lynn’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I was introduced to Kentra Lynn in the first installment of the Mink series. I love her. I rate her up there with the voice in the 50 Shades series. She breathed life into all the characters, their personalities were all distinct, including the men. She's just that good. I prefer reading over listening 90% of the time. But, in this case, I think she made the audio version much better than the novel could ever be. She's awesome!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Believe it or not, but for me it was when Selah was tending to Ray's wounds (after Pilar had just finished kicking his butt). Anyway, Ray was spilling his guts to Selah about how Pilar just didn't treat him right and how he just couldn't understand why she treated him like she did. Miss Selah told him that "if a relationship isn't right for you then you'd be a damn fool to spend 20 or 30 years trying to make it right." So many of us just continue to stay in a relationship when it's just not a fit; it's like trying to place a round peg into a square hole; and before you know it, they're throwing dirt on your face, lights out, it's all over...

Any additional comments?

This book had a little bit of everything, comedy, drama, freakiness, gutter, ghetto; but, also loyalty and family. I'll be thinking about them long after I've finished the audio.
