Publisher's summary
New York Times best-selling author Marie Bostwick crafts a timeless tale of friendship, love, and the choices we must make in their name.
While New Bern, Connecticut, lies under a blanket of snow, Cobbled Court Quilts remains a cozy haven for its owner, Evelyn Dixon, and her friends. Evelyn relishes winter’s slower pace—besides, Internet sales are hopping, thanks to her son Garrett’s efforts. In addition to helping out at the shop, Garrett has also been patiently waiting for his girlfriend, Liza, to finish art school in New York City. But as much as Evelyn loves Liza, she wonders if it’s a good idea for her son to be so serious so soon with a young woman who’s just getting ready to spread her wings.
Liza’s wondering the same thing, especially after Garrett rolls out the red carpet for a super-romantic New Year’s Eve—complete with a marriage proposal. Garrett’s the closest thing to perfect she’s ever known, but what about her own imperfections? The only happy marriage Liza has ever seen is her aunt Abigail’s, and it took her decades to tie the knot. Soon Liza is not only struggling with her own fears but with the mixed reactions of her friends and family. And when she finds herself torn between a rare career opportunity and her love for Garrett, Liza must grasp at the thinnest of threads and pray it holds.

A very nice story about a quilters circle of friends and the journey’s their lives take. Although mostly about one couples journey to truly understand what Love is, it shows the many ways different couples find their true meaning of love. A good book, I just wish the main couple had finally found their wedding day too!! Perhaps they will!

Review
Awesome storyline! Love it! Surprised at the end. I was hoping Lizza and Garrett would get married but I guess that’s for another book!!

A charming tale of growing up
I wasn't quite expecting a coming-of-age tale from a book about middle-aged (mostly) women, but this was truly a delightful tale of making decisions and deciding who you are. From a young engagement to matters of aging, it's a wonderfully told story bustling with loveable characters and their dramas.

Each one better
This is the 3rd book I’ve listened to by Marie Bostwick and I’ve enjoyed it even more than the others. This is my new favorite author because each book has nuggets of wisdom that are so uplifting and a group of creative characters that I can relate to.

Loved this book
I am really enjoying these women's stories that are wound around quilting. I grew up quilting with family so that there was a quilt for every big occasion.

One of My Favorite Authors
I love this series and this is the third book of the Cobbled Court Quilt Series about all ages of women and men going through different events, trials and tribulations and helping each other in a small Connecticut town. Marie Bostwick is one of my favorite authors.

Lovely story
I love quilting stories& the remarkable characters in them. I know many people who sew & quilt. They are creative, patient and thoughtful. Quilting groups are very supportive and artistic. It is a joy to be around them.

Great book for quilters and fabric divas!
Love the series, narrative and storyline! I hate to see the end coming! I listen to other books in between to make the story last longer.
