Great life lessons

This book had great life lessons and I learned a lot. It was a little hard to listen to for me since she was a little monotone through the story. She is a BEAST though and I’m honored to have read her book!

Intriguing life experience

I like the way she tells her stories with her vocal variety that makes it enjoyable listening to her audiobook. An inspiration to be fearless in male dominant career.

Fantastic!

This was exactly what I had been looking for in a leadership book. The military offers so many opportunities to learn about effective and impactful leadership. I found every chapter extremely engaging and began immediately thinking of ways I could challenge myself to be a fearless leader. I really like how the book broke down very specific ideas/principles on leadership and exactly how to apply them. This book was a recommendation from a friend that saw Carey speak in person and while I am so grateful they shared the book with me, I am now quite jealous I did not get to see her speak in person as well. Highly recommend this book!

Great Book

I was initially hesitant, as I figured this would be a book all about “girl power”, but I was pleasantly surprised. This book was fantastic and I really enjoyed it! Carey had her fair share of struggle and accomplishment and was able to overcome it all. Carey does a great job with the audio performance and the material was great and practical. Highly recommend!

Inspiring

This book is an inspiration and well worth the read. It's uplifting and would give anyone struggling with their circumstances some needed courage to carry on. In the face of adversity, it discusses how to be courageous, persevere and have the highest integrity doing so. She delivers a fantastic performance that comes from the heart.
