You have to be in the mood for the story
It’s not Clair’s typical work and she’s telling a story but it takes forever. I really wasn’t invested which is sad bc I like Clair’s work. I slogged thru 80% of the book at 2x speed hoping the story would pick up and it just didn’t. Ended up DNFing at 85%
