Witty Fun

There is a lot to like, but it moves fast. I was never sure if I had missed something critical to understanding what was happening in the narrative. My advice is to just enjoy the ride - it will come together more or less, but then venture out again on another thread. When you think of it in terms of the main character’s mindset it makes some sense, but some of the other characters are hard to keep straight. They all do an excellent job with the performances. My one question was the ending - it felt like there were answers, but not resolution.

My Head Hurts

I’m not entirely sure what I listened to. The voice acting was phenomenal and the one-off character interactions were mostly funny. The story as a whole, however, is a confusing headache. It took so many twists and turns that by the end I felt mostly exhaustion. The ending cemented the general, “What…?” feelings I had throughout.

What just happened?

I was able to follow the story, once I accepted the flighty protagonist’s stream of consciousness, and the voice actors were great, but there were odd and unnecessary unexplained twists and where is the rest of it? Too many open questions and character shifts. If this is a Part I, it should have come with Part 2. Without a Part 2, I cannot recommend.

Wish I had looked at the reviews first

The voice acting was great and felt gripping, but by the end seemed like a whole lot of build-up to nothing. Disappointed by the ending. I either wish there was more, or that I hadn't even wasted my time listening to it at all.

Really enjoyable but the ending?

Soooo... is there a sequel to this? Because that ending was too abrupt and cliffhanger-ish to be an actual ending.

I found the main character to be completely crazy. She was enjoyable to follow and really nice, but the whole time I kept thinking "total nut job". And her decisions the farther along into the story I got seriously confirmed that. It was a quirky read and the voice actors did an amazing job, but I wish the author had finished the story rather than breaking off after such a short time.

what did I just listen to...

This was the most chaotic story I've ever listened to on audible, and if I say I didn't love every second of it, I'd be lying. The twists and turns of this were absolutely ridiculous. And if there isn't a second one, I'll probably riot.

Mindless “listen”

I was excited by the premise of this book but it just couldn’t hold my attention. It was so all over the place and the characters were horrible. I kept having to rewind because I’d get distracted. I only finished this because I hate not finishing a book. The performance was the only decent part about this book.

This was a funny story but it didn't finish. leaves you hanging in the end.
I laughed quite a bit but it was also stressful to listen to the main FC.
Will there be a second season? if not, shame on Audible.

Couldn’t Handle It.

Very much in the brain-dump fashion of the Firesign Theatre only more so. Sorry, but as much as I’m into that sort of thing, I just could not finish it.

Wow…Just…Wow

There must have been some heavy drug use when this story was written. It was all over the place, hard to follow and the end make zero sense. What a shame. It started with potential.
