Relatable characters who you can’t help but root for.

Cute Idea…but Annoying

Normally this is right up my alley, but I really struggled to root for these MCs. Both are incredibly self centered, but at least the MMC had an arc. We got to learn why he thinks the way he does and see him grow past his hang ups. The FMC was just an egocentric disaster. Made everything about her and her feelings and lacked any character arc. Never apologized for her behavior, just cried and got her way. I’ve never disliked a character I was supposed to like so much.

Fun listen‼️‼️

I have insomnia so it’s nice to have something that I can enjoy that’s not heavy but is entertaining! This rom-com fits the bill! It’s not high art! We aren’t talking Tolstoy; but come on! It’s brief; “cute” & if you like rom-coms, it’ll hold your interest — @ least it did mine! & I wouldn’t be opposed to reading it again in a few months or a year — & I got it for Free with my membership so how great is that‼️ 😁

Stop fat shaming

Cute story, but the extreme emphasis on how she thinks she’s so fat and no one would find her attractive is ridiculous. So off-putting to me as a reader.

Light hearted read

it was a light book to listen to, very predictable but an interesting story. I do agree with most reviews that it seems like the author wanted to be so inclusive that they just added inclusion for the sake of it and for the most part didn't bring anything to the story. The female narrator was good, but she does sound like she's shushing. I think her other voices sound much better the one she used for the female lead. Teddy was wonderful as usual, lol we know it is you Teddy.
