I understand the concept of a much older man and a of age teen student forbidden romance, but what did I just listen to? Hugh’s voice is soothing but the character was bland and depressing. Annie was just awful. Maybe the play is different but when Annie would talk, it felt like she took forever to get a single word out. I cringed A LOT, I awkward smiled but overall it should have been a definite DNF but I pushed through and was still disappointed.

I don’t get it

The atmosphere is very good, it's just that Anie's tone of voice sometimes doesn't match the dialogue. But I love both actors. Excellent casting.

The story is great, it would be amazing if it had a feature film with the same actors.

Entertaining enough to listen to on a walk but the story was a bit meh

Just okay

The way this is written allows me to see the interactions and experiences of the characters in ways that would not be possible without the surprising end. I listened to it once but thought it through many times since.

Twisted Perception

Moral of the story don’t wear a red coat

Main reason is we’re all here is because of Hugh >:), I was noisy and one my friends saw the play, and gave me her juicy review, so I had to hear what this play is all about, Hugh’s and Ella’s storytelling is chef’s kiss, they had me hooked! But hooray for Annie for realizing Jon was a piece of dookie. The three failed marriages of Jon explains a lot, that he is the problem. Wish I could’ve seen the play in person FACK

Early in the story , I got the impression that the main character was a bad guy, ready to take advantage of an opportunity to seduce a 19 year old student. But as it progresses an innocence is revealed about both characters. Iloved the long pauses in the performance made you in your mind complete their sentences and also increased the drama of yhe moment Great listen!

The performance of both characters was great.

The emotion and enunciation kept me engaged. Enjoyed the duet of voices and the third person narative interspersed with the present tense conversation

Hugh Jackman’s character! And performance
