Publisher's summary

The third part in The Blackstone Affair series: A love on the brink of being destroyed. The fight of a lifetime to keep it alive.

Big surprises are on the horizon for Ethan and Brynne as they struggle to adjust to what life has thrown at them. Demons from the past are threatening to destroy the passionate bond they’ve forged despite their vow that nothing will ever keep them apart. A truly devastating loss coupled with the promise of a new hope opens their eyes to what is most important, but is it possible for the lovers to move on from the painful histories that continue to haunt them? A stalker is still lurking in the shadows, plotting evil amidst the distraction of the 2012 Olympic games in London. Brynne and Ethan are on the cusp of losing everything as the stakes rise. Will they yield to circumstances beyond their control or will they give every ounce of fight they have left to save each other and win the ultimate prize of a life together?

Eyes Wide Open is a passion-wrought story that shows us what pure love can achieve when tested and what the heart can accomplish despite danger and adversity.

Fantastic- Needed to Remind Myself FICTION at End

What did you like best about this story?

How about the least-the ending was rushed and a bit choppy.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Shane East ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes- Grace Grant is perfection! Shane East is great as Ethan.

Any additional comments?

I recommend getting the entire series as these are not 'stand alone' books in my opinion.Adult/mature themes-some strong language

Amazing..... enough said!! Grant also does a job.

What a way to finish up the series. I love how all the books rite together. it doesn't hurt at all to have such an amazingly sexy and panty melting voice like Shane East. Grace Grant does an incredible job of her part in portraying the "scarred and broken but beautiful American girl"...

This is a true love story with some added suspense. It's about friendship and forgiveness, love and healing the scars of the past and finally finding the one that makes you whole enough to want to walk through fire and come out the other side a true victor and survivor. What would you do for true love??? To be able to spend the rest of your life with not only the live of your life but your best friend??

It also doesn't hurt that Shane has an amazingly HOT AND SEXY VOICE and gives some great detail of the awesome (and I mean AWESOME) sex scenes.... all I can say is than Brynn is a lucky girl.... even if she is a fictional charactor ...💖💕

Surprise!

I enjoyed the whole series. But then I love Shane East's voice, too. Overall the book was good. Big twist. The UK "Shades of Grey" would have been a good title, but the female lead has more depth than that of Shades.

The sex is far more graphic and doesn't really add to the story.

I'm in!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I started reading this series first then added the audio version. The audio really brought this series to life for me. I was totally sucked in.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can not pick one character that is my favorite, they all are a part of this love story.

Which scene was your favorite?

"Make me real, only you can do that baby, only you"

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are several moving pieces to this love puzzle but in the end it is the glue that moved me.

Great Read Again

I loved the book so I just tried the audio to have something to do on a long flight. The narrators are a talented pair. Shane East sounded like a sexy Brit and could change to an American accent without a problem. He sounds just as I imagine Ethan would. I would listen to any book he narrates.

Absolutely Divine!

Don't read any further, just get this book! Ethan is one of the best male characters EVER, and the passion between he and Brynne ignites even more in this book. Things continue to come together from the previous stories, and I really hope there is a fourth book. If there is a fourth book, i am eagerly anticipating it. Raine Miller has a devoted fan in me!! I love the humor, I ADORE these particular characters (especially Ethan), the storyline is wonderful and the narration was phenomenal. Shane East really knows how to make your ears purrrrrr with satisfaction. Get it! Get it! Get it!

Blackstone Affair Trilogy

What did you love best about Eyes Wide Open?

I enjoyed the directness and frailty of Brynne and Ethan's characters and the extended family relationships.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Eyes Wide Open?

Loved the references to the lion fish and the horror of the Afghanistan experience.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved Ethan's playful streak with wee Zara, after a lot of sex, it was refreshing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I needed to know how the story was going to finish.

Any additional comments?

I thought that Grace Grant and Shane East were fantastic narrators. It was nice to hear a rich Alpha male voice. Bring on more true male voices !

Great Ending to a Good Trilogy

What made the experience of listening to Eyes Wide Open the most enjoyable?

Of course, the main reason is to complete series to know how the story line turns out. But the other reason was because the Trilogy is that interesting. I could hardly wait for the book to be released. And the day it did, I immediately went to my Android app to download it...a little after midnight.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the fact that Bryn was smart enough to leave subtle clues for Ethan to find her. I also loved the fact that she was brave enough to risk doing things others would be too coward to do, just so Ethan could find her in time.

And, the ending was nice. But not an extremely memorable one though. Still, something I can live with.

Which character – as performed by Grace Grant and Shane East – was your favorite?

I love when Grace performs the character for both Bryn and Ethan. Her accent for him is brilliant. But, its always tricky when a guy has to do a female's voice. It doesn't quite have the same flare, which is understandable. Nevertheless, Shane East did a great job. I really love his accent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed alot.It was very comical for sure. But, it had the sad moments too. Like when her dad died and to find out how he ended up dying.
