Erotic Twist on Classic Story!

Alana Melos skillfully merges erotic scenes with a classic story bringing us a steamy and sexy retelling of 1001 Nights. Each erotic scene is masterfully detailed, diverse in various acts, and is sure to please any fan of erotic stories.

Sierra Kline's turns erotic narration into an art! She knows how project a sexy voice while using the prefect pitch, and breathless to convey each sexy and erotic scene. She really delivered on both the male and female characters.

I normally do not do erotic stories, but I've always loved the story 1001 Arabian Nights, so I took a chance on this story and was rewarded…..with a very hot and sexy story! 1001 Erotic Nights is a great recommendation for any erotic fan who wants a great plot and a HEA!

Hot, Hot, Hot!

Arabian Nights...like Arabian Days...this book brings back the child in me. I always loved the Arabian nights stories, from Ali Baba and the 40 thieves right down to Aladdin. Yes, I have watched the Disney cartoon a million times and loved it. Alana Melos has taken this classic set of stories and spiced it up...a lot! She has skillfully woven in a series of well written erotic scenes so well, that for someone who isn't familiar with the tales would think it is the original. It is a scorching hot listen and will make you look for more of Melos's retellings.

The choice of Sierra Kline is ideal for this set of stories. Kline has a wonderful way of adding the perfect inflection for each situation. She has a lustful voice and is able to easily switch between the male and female exchanges. Love her for erotic listens.

Classic tale turned Erotic

This isn't the 1001 Arabian Nights that I remember but an erotic version full of spice. I enjoyed the narrator's performance of these stories. I was familiar with some of the stories, but thought this version was very original. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Adult Arabian Nights

I've always been a fan of the Arabian Nights stories. The Fisherman and the Genie, Alibaba and the 40 thieves, Sinbad, Aladdin, and many of the lesser known stories. But still, I had no idea there were so many more stories I didn't know. Some are in this story. While this isn't my normal genre, 1001 and Nights caught my attention. And, I couldn't resist checking it out. And, to my surprise, it was rather well done. The stories hold your attention. And, while there are scenes I don't believe are in the original, they are well placed and it holds your attention, especially if you are a fan of the original stories. The author does a good job of weaving the erotic scenes into this story and the narrator does a good job of keeping you engaged. This book was offered to me as an ARC and it was worth the listen. Even made me get the regular non children yet non erotic version to listen to.

Hot, Hot, Hot!

Where does 1001 Erotic Nights (Mythic Erotica) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

My Review For The Story Itself –

Was the curse a lack of trust? I couldn’t help wondering that.

The story starts with an erotic shocker, which I quite enjoyed. The writing began solid, very sharp and visual and that didn’t let up. The sex scenes were very well written. It isn’t easy to keep things fresh when there are ample amounts of them, but Melos managed to do just that. They were all beautifully paced. The story itself was lightly plotted but executed to perfection.

My Review for the Narration –

Narration work isn’t easy when it comes to erotica. You want someone who can both tell a story, and get you hard as fucking rock, keep you hard, and eventually get you off. I mean, sorry not sorry to be so blunt, but that’s the whole point of erotica. Sierra Kline wasn’t good … she was perfect. You could tell she put in the work. Every voice was expertly done, the lust in her voice during those raunchy scenes in the book is the reason for global warming – hot, hot, hot!

What other book might you compare 1001 Erotic Nights (Mythic Erotica) to and why?

It's unique enough that I can't compare it to anything.

Which scene was your favorite?

It's erotica, so every sex scene was hot.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No.

A new twist on old stories

I can honestly say I will never think of Aladdin, Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, or Sinbad the same ever again :). I enjoyed this story very much and the narration was great! Fun, sexy listen.

Erotic take on the classic Arabian Nights

This book is a scintillating and sensual audiobook based on the classic 1001 Arabian Nights. This is definitely not a book you want your children to listen to, but it is great fun for adult audiences. It contains a variety of sexual themes including domination, power transfer, and gender switching. Alana Melos penned an intoxicating mix of fairy tale and (adult) fantasy, and Sierra Kline's narration is smooth, pleasing, and matches the mood of the stories.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun and Funny

Any additional comments?

This book is very hot, if you are looking to listen to a lot of sex, with some classic stories then this is for you. I really enjoyed it and the new take on some classic tales, but there wasn't ever really a moment where I thought, oh that's different, or I've never seen that done before. Then again I listen to a lot of fantasy novels and I find that they all get to be rather similar after a while. Though it is rather similar to other novels I have read, the sex scenes were really good and that's really all you need in erotica anyway.

A twist on the old tale

This audiobook was provided by the author, at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Boom.

A raunchy retelling of the old folk tale – 1001 Arabian Nights. I loved the original story and studied it story years ago for drama so was interested to see what would be made of this one.

THE GOOD STUFF
I wasn’t sure what I’d think of this story when I began listening to it. But I was happy to find that the stories had been redone by Meols perfectly. It wasn’t the exact same story, Melos had mixed them up by tweaking one or two and then completely making others her own. However, she kept the initial story of Scheherazade and the Sultan very similar, which I think was a very good touch.

The choice of Sierra Kline as the narrator was perfect. She has a lovely sultry voice that really works with the stories.

NOT MY CUP OF TEA
Some points I did find a little hard because bits of the story weren’t very paced, so after one raunchy scene, there was another a few minutes after.

I lost count of the times in each story that the word ‘wanton’ was mentioned too. It became a mental game.
