"By turns hilarious and disturbing, it is the best novel I’ve read this year." (Daily Mail)
"Vibrant tragicomic slices of cosmopolitan Englishness." (Independent on Sunday)

Not enough of a story to keep me interested.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one, not enough of a story, too broken, too much back and forth in the minds of the characters, unnecessary comments. Over all a pathetic book.

What was most disappointing about Joseph Connolly’s story?

The whole book!

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Narration by Nigel Peevers poorest of any book I have listened to.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None.

Any additional comments?
