Publisher's summary

Welcome back, friends. Get comfortable, grab a drink, light the fire in your hearth….

This is the story of how I, the one and only Shady Greg, saved the world of Jadera.

What, you thought it was over after my Misty Isle adventures? To tell you the truth, so did I. After everything, I really thought I could run Greg’s Dungeon Emporium and rest on my laurels.

Unfortunately for me—and luckily for you—Jadera and more specifically, The Profit, hate it when I’m not scrabbling for my life and gold.

So settle in, friends, as I recount the tale of my life…and death.

The final chapter in the story of my life awaits you. Won’t you join me?

Really Fun Finale to a Clean RPG Trilogy

This being the final book has tons action and adventure (still not a dungeon crawl adventure) it's more of a shady businessmen RPG with plenty of backstabbing. I didn't read the first book but did read the second and then this one, and although it wasn't necessary to I will go back and read the first one because they've just been fun reads. I previewed these for my teens who are big into D&D and will be downloading these on their devices.

Parents- PG - suitable for 12 and up - the MC is a "Shady" guy so there's underhanded deals and "backstabbing"
Language- don't remember any bad language, no f-bombs
Violence- normal to genre, nothing too graphic
Sexual Content- None

Narrator- did a great job with the differentiations and was fun to listen to. I listened at 1.25x speed.

Shady Greg brings the joy

This series continues to be one I enjoy immensely. It is a great listen with just the right amount of stakes for a third book in a series. Highly recommend.

An excellent ending to an amazing trilogy!

Wolfe Locke and Mike Caliban write an excellent book 3 in the Ballad of Shady Greg series. Dungeon Emporium is everything you'd expect in this series. It is filled with joy, hatred, horrible situations, satisfying outcomes, and a fun story overall! I look forward to the next project from Wolfe and Caliban. Audio Version: Christopher Harbour continues to do a great job with each character and the overall narration of the story.

Another well written & enjoyable read/listen

Dungeon Emporium: A Gamelit Magic Shop Adventure (Ballad of Shady Greg Book 3), my thirteenth read author Wolfe Locke. Another unique, captivating, can’t turn the page fast enough, well-written read in the Ballad of Shady Greg, leaving you panting for more. I have to admit that I sped up the playback. I'm voluntarily leaving a review." 8-hours 17-minutes/431-pages. Christopher Harbour ‘s excellent narration again adds to the enjoyment of the book. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to Locke’s next work. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Is This The Conclusion?

I really enjoyed book 3 of "The Ballad of Shady Greg" series. This book was great fun, and it wrapped up the whole series in an exciting way. The story kept my attention and I listened to it from beginning to end on the same day. It made me a little sad that there might not be any more stories featuring these characters. Christopher Harbour's narration was scintillating, and his performance was entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Recommended for Gamers

Dungeon Emporium is an excellent choice for gamers who love Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, and other sword and sorcery gaming platforms. The story is intriguing, and although the text could be benefitted from additional editing, the author's voice is engaging. The voice acting was exceptionally well done. I recommend beginning with the first book in the series to get oriented in the author's universe.
