It was nice to see a few things come together, but honestly the writing is still clumsy and clunky and I found the ending quite unsatisfying.
I think the biggest part of the problem with these books is that the author isn't consistent and several of them choose to completely ignore what the others had done.
In the end, as a soft introduction to the world for a young reader, our for a die hard fan of the series, these are definitely worth the read/listen.
