Morgan & Walker

From the start Morgan and Walker’s banter and tension was 🔥 I love Morgan so much, she’s an absolute spitfire which is fitting for her nickname “little devil”. Their personalities together made it so much fun to get lost in their little world.

This is definitely the spiciest book in the series and HOLY CRAP, was I sucking down some water while reading.
I may or may not have discovered new kinks 🤣🤣

There are two specific chapters that live rent free in my head and I won’t name them because I don’t want spoil anything BUTTTTTT iykyk 😜 (also, Lexie thank you for the lovely drawing for one of the chapters 🤣)

The found family dynamic throughout is fantastic. I love how their friendship flows together. I highly recommend reading book 1 & book 2 before diving into Dr. Fellow because you’ll understand everyone’s personalities so much better!

Maxine Mitchell & JF Harding did a PHENOMENAL job bringing Walker & Morgan to life and making me fall in love with this story all over again! Hearing “little devil” in surround sound (aka ear buds) was a TOP TIER EXPERIENCE.

I have been dyinggggg for Walker’s story ever since meeting him in the previous books. I just knew that he would end up being a MMC in a future book. And Morgan is absolutely hilarious!

Walker is newly-ish divorced and isn’t focused on a relationship. He’s focused on his work, which is inevitably one of the reasons his marriage failed.

Morgan is a free bird and doesn’t want to be held down. She is all sass and wit, especially with Walker. Their banter was so great and I loved to hear it!

Their relationship was so much fun and their chemistry was explosive! The spicy scenes in this book had me blushing and swooning all at the same time.

Maxine Mitchell and J.F. Harding were such a great pairing for this audiobook! I love the chemistry that their voices portrayed and they really made me not want to pause the audiobook!

Walker is perfect

Look, I know this is a romance, and I love Walker and Morgan… But I have to commend Lexie for her extremely real, raw, and gritty evaluation of the toxicity of careers in healthcare. I’ve never resonated so deeply with a book in my life. The way Lexie covers very real and very prominent struggles in our industry is admirable, and I’m so glad that general readers can get a glimpse into our lives.

Okay. Onto Walker freaking Chastain. What. A. Man. From the first date he plans, to his protectiveness, to his constant regard for Morgan’s safety and comfort, this man is one of my favorite characters of all time. And Morgan is the same! She’s sassy, strong, and fun, and she’s the kind of friend I need in my life. These two were so real and deep, and I loved seeing them come together and fall in love. I loved everything about this book, and I am champing at the bit to get my hands on Wes!!!!

If I thought I loved this book when I read it, I only loved it a million times more as an audio. JF Harding and Maxine Mitchell were PHENOMENAL in this duet audio, and I died over and over hearing them narrated one of my favorite books ever. 11/10, SO good.

Fantastic narration, fun, spicy story

I received the audiobook as an ALC, and I ended up really enjoying it. Dr. Fellow is a fun, emotional, and seriously spicy medical romance. Walker and Morgan’s chemistry pulled me in right away, and the accidental-marriage twist made the story even more addictive. The hospital setting felt real, the characters had great depth, and the narration brought everything to life. Overall, a fast and satisfying listen that kept me hooked from start to finish.

Dr. Fellow is my favorite so far in this series and the healthcare aspect of this series is so realistic that it brings back a lot of nostalgia for me.

Morgan is so sassy, spunky, funny and she does not take any crap from anyone and I absolutely loved her and her sassy mouth. You can also really feel how much she loves her job and cares for her patients and that made me love her even more.

Walker is the exact man that Morgan needed. Secure in himself, willing to explore, and doesn't want to dim her light. These two have the most fun banter and I giggled so hard at their interactions and how Walker worked so hard to earn everything he wanted from Morgan. This man knew she was worth fighting for, bantering with, and he took that challenge perfectly.

The BDSM exploration in this story is HOT AF and I loved how Morgan was sassy there too, but that made Walker work harder to earn her submission. His filthy mouth was perfect and these two were just explosive together and I loved every second of it.

I could rave about this audiobook narration forever because Maxine Mitchell & J.F. Harding were absolutely incredible! I've heard both of these narrators on many audiobooks and loved them, but this is my favorite to date with these two. Maxine brought all of Morgan's sass and her submission and it was perfection. J.F. Harding nailed Walker's strength, the way he could give Morgan everything she needed and his vulnerability so perfectly. Absolutely standout performances on this one!

A duet narration that brings the chemistry, sweetness, and filthy hot heat to life in this medical romance!!

We are back at Midtown Memorial and I am absolutely loving this series on audio!!! I’ll say it again, this series has all the vibes of Grey’s Anatomy but with the heat turned all the way up!! Although Walker and Morgan’s romance is filthy hot, I loved that there were also many sweet, tender moments and how the story also showcased the real emotional side of being a ER nurse or doctor. Lexie is truly one of the best at writing realistic medical experiences with emotion and passion but also delivers tons of hot, sexy spice!!

Walker and Morgan’s chemistry and tension has been brewing and you can feel how palpable it is from the start!! I also loved Morgan’s fiery, spitfire personality and it made the witty banter with Walker even more amazing! Things may turn into a friends with benefits situation but the progression of their relationship was so beautiful as they share their vulnerabilities and develop both individually and together. At the same time, they also grow sexually with some steamy dom/sub exploration. And let me tell you, those scenes are burning hot!!! However, Walker is so caring and mindful when it comes to their scenes and always makes sure there is communication which I loved to see included!

Dr. Walker Chastain just got divorced while Morgan is an ER nurse who is not interested in a relationship and does to never be with someone in scrubs. However, you can feel the tension continuing to build between them which erupts into a friends with benefits situation. Then they go on a joint bachelor/bachelorette party for their friends in Vegas and things all change when they wake up married…

This is book 3 of the Midtown Memorial series. There is some crossover as the other characters in the series are in this book a lot but Lexie made it very easy to follow as a standalone! However, I definitely recommend listening to them on audio too!

Wow, Dr. Fellow on audio set my headphones on FIRE!!! Maxine Mitchell and JF Harding gave an outstanding performance in this duet narration that bring this spicy medical romance to life!

JF Harding was perfection as Walker!! His warm tone captured Walker’s broody side but also his sweetness, dedication to his job and vulnerabilities. Then he used that sultry side to his voice and brought out the fire of Walker’s incredibly filthy mouth!! I love Maxine!!!!! She magnificently captured Morgan’s spitfire personality and was amazing at delivering all the banter with Walker! Meanwhile, the emotional side of her voice always has me all in my feels! I could feel the pain in her voice as Morgan deals with realistic medical moments and voicing her vulnerabilities.

Overall, this audiobook transports you right into the hospital like you’re in a real life episode of Grey’s Anatomy! It has banter, emotion and the realistic side of working in a hospital but with all the STEAMING hot filthy moments in between!!! Definitely use headphones for this one.

The spice was spicy.
&& hearing JF Harding say “my wife”, yes please!
And I loved the bring in of all the characters from previous stories. Listening to the struggles of other couples who have already had their HEA was so refreshing!

I will be listening to the others in this series as well as the last!
