This was my second time reading/listening to this book & I still love it!! Ledger & Auburn get me every time.

Single mom romance

3.75⭐️ This was my first Vee Taylor book and it won’t be my last!

This is a single mom romance where she falls for her son’s captain and it was so addictive! I could not put this audiobook down I just wanted to keep listening. It was the perfect amount of swoony (MY BBY LEDGER THE MAN YOU ARE!!!! 🥹) and spicy (I may NEVER look at a skate blade the same ever again. IYKYK). I personally wasn’t a huge fan of Auburn and felt she was immature but I overall still loved the story!

As always, Sebastian York and Amy Hall did an incredible job narrating. They brought the story to life and I highly recommend the audio.

Your Pucking Mom by Vee Taylor is book #1 in the Ravens Hockey series and it was so swoon worthy. Auburn is a single mom trying to do what’s best for her son who joined the Ravens hockey team. He’s the youngest on the team and she is worried he could mess up and they kick him off the team so she moves to Chicago with him. She meets Ledger and it’s an instant connection but he also plays for the same hockey team as her son and let’s just say, things get a little heated between them 😏!
The audio is performed in duet style by Amy Hall and Sebastian York. The dynamic between these two made this book a great listen. Blue nose did a phenomenal job producing this audio as well.

I so love finding new authors and diving into their audiobooks.
This one was so entertaining. Yes, I enjoyed the banter and the heat.
But what I loved most was the narration by one of my favorite narrators, Sebastian York. He sealed the deal for me on this audiobook. HOT!!!!!

Forbidden Hockey Captain 🙂‍↕️

Your Pucking Mom is an age gap hockey romance with some darker themes. Auburn, a single mom who experienced teen pregnancy and has a rocky relationship with her own mom, gives her all to her son. When he gets offered a spot on a famous hockey team, she ends up running into his coach-Ledger. The story felt a bit like insta-love and focused heavily on Auburn's backstory and current struggles, which made it a little harder for me to connect with Ledger as much as I'd have liked. That said, I really appreciated how intuitive Ledger was when it came to Auburn and her needs. I had the chance to listen to this as an ALC from Blue Nose, and Amy Hall and Sebastian York absolutely knocked it out of the park-great performance that really brought the story to life. Amy's emotion in Auburn's character was fantastic, and Sebastian captured Ledger's calm yet dominant vibe so well. Overall, the story itself wasn't my top read, but the audiobook is definitely worth a listen if you're into forbidden romances with a hot hockey captain and a single mom who finally gets to be a little selfish for herself.

Auburn & Ledger

Vee Taylor has officially entered her hockey era, and I am so in love. Vee's writing is so easy to follow and too bingeable.

This story follows Ledger & Auburn. Auburn's son got recruited to play professional hockey, so Auburn moved to be close to him. What she didn't know she was going to meet and fall in love with her son's broody hot captain (please know Auburn had Austin VERY young, so there is not a huge age gap between Ledger & Auburn).

They really tried to be friends because they knew it was a bad idea to get wrapped up with each other, but they couldn't help themselves. Their chemistry was off the charts and the spice was spicin'...and may have included a skate guard. HOOOTTTT!

The growth we see in Auburn as we learn the trauma she has dealt with for 18 years is impeccable. Ledger is the complete opposite of broody, but ONLY for her.

I am so excited for the rest of the Ravens Hockey series.

This book is produced by Blue Nose Audio & performed in duet by Amy Hall and Sebastian York. They do a fantastic job bringing these two characters to life. When I saw they were casted for this book I was ecstatic. They truly fit the vibes of Auburn & Ledger.

Vees book Brought to audio was amazing . Amy Hall and Sabastian York were the Perfect duo to bring A&L to life. The trauma Amy portrayed that beatuifully and their obstacles and working through them this team was perfectlu picked to make the cute couple vibes and all the feels.

Hot heavy and head turning!!

I can’t believe I waited this long to read this book having loved the rest of her books I knew I would love this one, but I can’t tell you how much the audio enhanced this book!! I am so glad I listened to it first and can not wait till the next comes out!!!!

Auburn & Ledger

So, what you’re saying is that a single mom of an 18-year-old who is drafted to an NHL team is literally swept up in this romance with that same son’s teammate and captain of the team? I am so glad I signed up for this and opened the book! Auburn and Ledger are just so yummy. There is this magnetic pull between the characters that they cannot deny. I, quite frankly, wanted them to stop denying this attraction from their 2nd meeting because I knew they were going to be so good together.

I enjoyed this story, it’s sweet, good spice, and plot. The romance is relatively “fast burn” — the chemistry, tension, and attraction evolve quickly, pushing characters into emotionally precarious territory.
