Her life is complicated!
Author Robin James has crafted a major winner in DEVIL'S BARGAIN (Book 3 in her Cass Leary Legal Thriller Series). Unlike Silent Witness (Book 2) this one has lots of courtroom drama and an equal amount of suspense outside the courtroom as she seeks to defend a truly awful man against charges of murdering a prosecutor. She does so while trying to deal with drama in her own family. Her mob boss boyfriend and her cop potential boyfriend add to her problems. The brother of her mob boss boyfriend as he seeks to dethrone his brother complicates matters further. Devil's Bargain is an outstanding legal thriller with an unexpected twist at the end. Protagonist Cass Leary is a tough lawyer. Novels in this series are standalone, but there is much understanding to be gained by listening to them in order. Narration by Teri Clark Linden is stellar. This is one you do not want to miss.
