Mystery and courtroom drama with twists and turns

I really enjoyed listening to this legal thriller I am going to listen to the next one

A lot to like

Except for the final witness in the Courtroom this was a 5* legal thriller. The main characcter was flawed but very lovable and much of the legal drama was realistic. Another subtext besides the legal drama was also intriguing. I enjoyed the plot 4* worth.

strength of womanhood

The plot was thrilling and the courtroom blow by blow was exciting. Can’t wait for another book.

Her baby story

I loved the whole book it has excitement and mystery I love her she is smart and brave

It was just too much of boredom. Even the end fell short. Not my cup of tea

Why, I wondered, would a lawyer in a prestigious firm be performing the duties of a private investigator? As it turned out, just about anything was possible in this legal thriller. The court dialog near the conclusion seemed absurd. I had to crank up the speed to finish.

if you like characters that scream "I'm not like other girls" tropes, this book is for you.

nothing worse than political rhetoric frosted with filthy language to start a book that you thought you would enjoy.
