Robin James does it again
Robin James has written another outstanding book in the Cass Leary Legal Thriller series. At first I had my hopes up that this time I would be able to figure who really committed the crime, but once again I failed I was feeling confident in my guess until the tight twists near the end caught by surprise.. Well done Robin James. I can’t wait until the next one, in the meantime on to the Maya Brent series by Robin James.

Enjoyable
This book in the Cass Keary series has everything I have enjoyed about the entire series. However this book was very predictable in its outcome. Also the characters were not as like able and sympathetic as in previous books. I still liked the book but not one of my favorites the series.

Another excellent Robin James legal thriller
Deadly Defense is Book 13 in the outstanding Cass Leary legal thriller series. She also authors the Mara Brant series which I recommend. If you like legal thrillers give Robin James a try.

I love the Cass Leary series but...
I had the ending of this one pegged from the jump. A little disappointed in how predictable it was. Still a good read tho. Still entertaining. & I still preordered the next book in the series.

Great story line
I love all the Cass Leary stories and it makes a big difference that it’s the same narrator…definitely helps the story line. Anxiously waiting on the next one!
