Four years after Deadbreak, a convoy cuts across the northern plains—Verum Ex up front with their lab-coat gospel, the CCB lurking behind to tax anything with a pulse. I've got a small crew, a dog who thinks he's in charge, and a trail that leads through every settlement still dumb enough to have hope. Each one costs us something. Most of them cost us blood.

Then the trail ends at a fortress by a lake, the dead show up like they got the invite, and we learn what it takes to hold a line when the math says don't bother.

If we survive, the road points to a hospital where the answers are. If we don't, the world gets smaller. Again. And I'm running out of world.

good fun

I was so excited to see another story came after Deadbreak! Jeremiah Reed kicks butt and takes names with a quick quippy wit that had me laughing out loud. The narrator is the cherry on top, he brings this story to life. Hurry up and get the next one out!

I couldn't get enough of this story! Lovable characters, humor, action packed, just amazing!! The second audiobook one came out THE DAY that I finished the first of this series, how perfect is that?!

Deadbreak is my all time favorite book. I share it with everyone. Deadlock was awesome. Everything I hoped for. If you enjoy Deadpool then you will love this book series. Incredible. Thank you Mr. Sanchez you are an amazing writer.

Great 2nd book in the series

Love the series so far can’t what to see where the characters end up next.

A solid continuation to Deakbreak and Jeremiah

I thought Deadlock was a nice continuation to Deakbreak and I look forward to books 3 and 4. While I liked the book in general, I did not feel like it was as good as Deadbreak. That said, I'm glad I bought the book and feel it was a good listen.

I'm hoping the next two books continue to deliver more worthy adventures for Jeremiah, Sam, and the rest of the crew.

I liked the narrator with the exception of his pronunciation of the word MRAP. When frequently describing the vehicle, he spells out each letter instead of saying it as a single word. I don't know why, but that was driving me crazy. lol

MRAP is pronounced as a single word: "EM-rap"

BreakdownEM: Sounds like the letter "M".
RAP: Sounds like the word "rap" or a quick knock.
