Solid zombie apocalypse horror

Enjoyed it quite a bit.
Coming from Junkyard Druid, I didn't know what to expect, but it was great.

Morbidly Intriguing

I'm a huge fan of the genre of survival/zombie apocalypse style novels and this was right up my alley. It is always refreshing to find a story where the main character doesn't sit around without a plan or a clue. Most of these similar stories have characters that are outrageously unprepared and lacking general survival skills. The main protagonist of this story however exhibits many traits and skills required to make it in a scenario such as this. Not very impressed by the voice actor they chose though, horrendous Texas accent, that I found extremely obnoxious and a failed delivery on the majority of the characters spoken lines.

Fun book! Made my drive so much nicer. Great performance by the narrator. Can’t wait to listen to book 2

Reminds me of Army of Darkness kinda

Great book. Reminds me of the lead character in Army of Darkness and the zombies fit the theme as well once you get in to it. Definitely going to listen to the whole series.
