Ouch!
Where does Dead with the Wind rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's a pleasant cosy, which is what I bought it for.
If you’ve listened to books by Miranda James before, how does this one compare?
Mediocre - I missed Diesel the Maine Coon cat.
Would you be willing to try another one of Jorjeana Marie’s performances?
NO! While I'm not familiar enough with Southern accents to comment, her persistent mispronunciation of basic French words like "maman", "tante", and even "Ducote", the surname of two of the main characters, was wince-worthy.

Fantastic!
This was such a good book I hated for it to end. The characters were believable, enough detail so you felt like part of the story but not to much to keep up with. I can't wait for the next one!!

Interesting and a bit of a cliffhanger
I’ve read a number of these and I couldn’t put this one down. Although I had narrowed the suspects down, and I found the mortuary scene a bit surprising I was still surprised at the final conclusion and will need to chew on it a bit. A sure sign of a good story.

Dead with Wind
I so enjoy the stories by Miranda James. I feel I almost know Charley and I love Diesel. I sincerely hope there will be more books with Diesel, Charles and the sisters.
Jorjeana Marie does a good job bring the characters to life, you almost believe they are sisters.
I hope there will be more books.
