A Struggle to read

Ended up skipping to the end. Just couldn't hold my interest.
The characters were not interesting.

Cozy in England

Loved the mix of American and British accents. The story was good but would have been great with more description of the scenery. Overall worth the buy is you love cozy mysteries.

New series

I didn’t figure this one out! Loved it. Stating the second one right now. Love this author

I liked this book.

The narrator was good. she put just the right amount of emotion in just the right times. The story was almost believable. There were too many people eager to be her friends. In real life most people would be busy with their own problems. The grandmother was too competent in all respects. Most old people are likely to be more slow and tired. I did find the story interesting and the efforts to find the killer were inventive. This story has a good ending that leaves you satisfied.

Great Read with tons of humor

If you are looking for a nice book to pass an afternoon away, which a smile permanently edged on your lips this is the book for you! Warning: May cause random outburst of laughter!!

Great new series!

I love Webb’s other cosy mystery series so I was excited to see a new one! This did not disappoint- great story and characters and the narration was great. Ready for the next book!

F bombs in the first paragraph. totally unnecessary.

Foul language. F bombs in the first paragraph. A chapter or two later the main character starts waxing dreamily of a witchy vibe for her bookstore. Hard pass.

Wasted Premise

I wish I had my credit back. This story had so much going for it, unfortunately it turned out underwhelming to me. British accents were all over the place. Characters weren’t filled out, story line seemed to be a check list of every cozy mystery.
