worth the listen but not my favorite

it was solid! i haven’t read anything else by her (yet) but her writing is strong and keeps you engaged. i wish the characters had been flushed out a bit more and the plot less predictable and anticlimactic but overall enjoyed it. the writing style was the highlight for me. this writer has strong potential, but based on how many books she keeps pumping out might want to consider placing quality over quantity.

Good story line and I really liked the reader. I’ll be looking for her other books to download.

Favorite Megan Miranda Book

At the heart of this story is family—the one you’re born into, the one you build for yourself, and the one forged through a shared sense of duty, like the bonds within the local police force. Each type of family is more dysfunctional than the last. And, as with any small town, there are plenty of dark secrets lurking beneath the surface, waiting to be unearthed.

I had my suspicions, but I never guessed just how deep some of those secrets ran... Highly recommend!

Suspenseful from the start

I enjoyed the interesting storyline. The Book was well-written. I never was able to figure out what was taking place with the mysterious deaths until the end.

A great mystery . You'll be dumbfounded by who the killer is.

loved this story, although books written in the first voice are not favorites, usually. Do not miss this thriller!
