The story kept me interested the entire time and waiting to see what came next

I can’t say that there was anything I disliked about this book. I thought there would be a twist/ connection to the neighbor!

such great story telling. I hated for it to end. kept me on the edge of my seat. I also love the change in prospective.

Boring and Stilted

It was hard to get through this book. I like horror, I like thrillers, and I like mystery; should be a slam-dunk, right? Unfortunately, this was so boring and long winded. And the ending was just lame. It felt like a big time waster to me.

Best horror book I've read so far. Well written and kept me wanting to read more and more. I just couldn't stop! I absolutely recommend this!!

The similarities to Friday 13th

The childish behavior and non realistic attitudes of these mean girls was aggravating. Even with the slow development of the characters, they were so flat through the entire story. I struggled to get through in hopes that it may get better. Bad book. Just BAD

Fast paced, story with good details.

This was a good book. It is a nice palette cleaner for between more in depth thrillers. I would recommend for teenagers. The description of the characters and scenes was excellent. It felt like you were there. Fun read.

Predictable one dimensional plot

Yawn, I usually don’t leave bad reviews and just chalk it up to not being my cup of tea. But this just felt phoned in.

Pros & Cons

I like Ms. Ihli’s writing. This is my 4th book to read/listen to in the last 2 months. This is the first book I was ready to end. It seemed too slasher movie & less storyline. I’ll continue to read her books, but didn’t like this one.
