The Safest Lies

Entertainment. I listened to it in 3 days in my spare time. Seems to me like a teenage targeted book, maybe because it had a lot of teen characters but I ate it up anyway. suspenseful.

Reeled me in straight from the get

I loved the story. Although I had it figured out early on, it was still an interesting listen.

I listened nonstop!

This book kept me on my toes it’s a must read! I played it while working and couldn’t stop listening.

Wow! Interesting and twisty

I enjoyed this book. Sometimes I have a hard time starting a new audio book, but this one grabbed my interest from chapter 1 and kept me engaged throughout. I was continually guessing and wondering lots of things, but it is all explained by the end. Kelsey was very like-able and engaging, yet realistic. I thought it got somewhat far fetched at the end, but I could forgive it since the story was unfolding, but I am more of a realist. A good read (listen).

Interesting characters ,devloped enough but not too much. Good plot and enjoyed the narration .

Didn’t want it to end!

I totally enjoyed this book. The narrator did an excellent job and made a good story even better. I was always disappointed when I had to walk away from the book for awhile and was anxious to return to the story. I liked the characters and even didn’t mind some parts that were a little far-fetched. This should be a movie if it isn’t already!

More of a young adult novel

Story was well written and performed but centered around teenagers and typical teenage views of the world. Would recommend for a young adult audience.

I just couldn't get through it. I felt no connection with the characters so I didn't care about them enough to keep listening.

Yes, absolutely. The story was exciting and intriguing. I couldn’t stop listening.

What does Amanda Dolan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amanda did a great job narrating and introducing all the changing emotions: fear, love, desperation, sadness, determination.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A lifetime of living lies creates a very fragile foundation that rapidly starts to crack.

I will definitely be listening to this book again.
