I can't say I particularly enjoyed this book. The plotline was so-so, and at times I was bored.

Protagonists Can Be Very Frustrating

This book has some of the most emotional and often clueless women/teens as protagonists I have ever read of. Granted, for at least half the book they go through hell, but these women never make use of anyone who could answer their concerns, be they counselors, doctors, police, or lawyers. You would think at least one of them would be written with some common sense. Nope. I guess that's an ingredient for a good story, though, and this book is one.

It was a definite couldn't-stop-listening book

Who was your favorite character and why?

Probably Jessie/Jamie. She was the least dumb out of all of them.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

They were fine.

I did like the book. Some portions were a bit hard, for me, in my opinion, hard to listen to, just the material of the story. I also felt like the women characters could have been a bit more wise, especially at the end. I mean, are people that dumb? Other than that, pretty good.

Really a good read. Would recommend. Keeps you turning the pages with anticipation. 5 stars.

MUST LISTEN, 10/5 STARS!!!

I loved the narrator's tone, I was invested instantly. Reviews are so critical on the "way" the narrator sounds, and to that I say read it yourself. This narrator, however, will not disappoint.

I found the author I needed to regain my hope that there are still books to fall into. So, read or listen, just add this book to your list!

Just ok.

Honestly, I only finished this book because I paid for it. The story was lackluster and unrealistic. The ending was blah.

Written fearlessly, but it became unrealistically repetitive toward the end. Wonderful to read a gritty woman's voice.

Good but not great

Generally I think her books are terrific, perhaps I am getting tired of the similar story lines. Book was a bit long.
