If he ever hoped to escape, he would have to draw together a team of survivalists to save those nearby before he could even begin the last, most important journey of his life.

And there was one thing he hadn't counted on at all: the EOTWAWKI wasn't just a natural disaster. There was a sinister, almost omnipotent human force, behind it...and it wanted him dead.

great series

great series, Nathan does seem to get lucky alot but I like the lack of tragedy within the main characters.

just black and white and nothing between

story is well written, but lacks depth, all characters are bland and very conviniently made to look main character good. protagonist never really is forced to make any choice because other characters are purely good or poor evil. also main character somehow is perceived by everyone like santa klaus and is worshiped like a god and despite relatively young age patronizes everyone and acts like some elderly wise main showing some heathens error of their ways.
i still want to know what happens next, also i saw that some future books has allen as co-author, so that brings hope.

Good read

strong character development, good story line. man's best friend good to travel with. like training children to survive, a strong part of the story.

One of the better books I’ve listen to

I enjoyed this book so much I purchased the rest of the series before listening to book two. I have laughed and made remarks out loud, happy no one was around to see me.

haters really hated

I liked this book. It's not the best but far from the worst. I don't like reviews for thus book it nearly kept me from downloading it, thankful I did. This book us worth a shot. The main man is a prepped group unto himself with all his training and knowledge. I really dislike in the comments about how unrealistic the guy was. ITS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER! anyway give it a chance or not the choice is yours audible will refund the credit if you are unsatisfied. My vet is a former navy SEaL he has a rescue for dogs that are trained in S&R and by nephews orthodontist is a former EOD tech and NLDSA winner. I'm just some random jerk from Michigan whose to say was a wealthy guy does with his money if he is so inclined.

Worth trying out

Would you listen to Dark Titan Journey again? Why?

Maybe. It had a lot of characters at times. I might be able to enjoy the story more the second time since I will already know who's who.

I might but not for their first book in this genre.

I liked the book but thought the story focused on the store and diner too long. This section was still interesting, I was just ready for him to get on the road. I am looking forward to the next book.

I love love love this series. 5 stars to Thomas Watson and keep writing. I have the books but it has been a real pleasure listening to this excellent book. Thank you!!!

Third listen and still excellent

I love this! The people -most of them- are believable. What a scary situation... scarier than the pandemic and now the riots. sigh. Why do people destroy?

A great series to listen too

A great story by Watson, with the eye being how to move and survive when SHTF (I can't spell it out because Amazon gets butthurt if I use real words) I enjoy listening to Watson's work while I drive my 18 wheeler
