Publisher's summary

You are about to learn how to step into a new phase of your life where anxiety, worry, fear, negative thoughts, and negative emotions don’t dictate what you can or cannot do!

Anti-anxiety medication may seem like a quick fix to your worries, fears, panic attacks, negative thoughts, and anxieties but the truth is that they do have their downsides, some of them being creating dependence (because they don’t cure but suppress symptoms) and many others. I know you also know that taking a few bottles of beer to "calm down stressed nerves" is a bad approach.

Let me let you in on a secret...

There is another better, healthier, side effect way of dealing with anxiety, depression, excessive worry, negative thinking, fear, and different negative emotions. What’s more; this other method has been proven scientifically to be as effective as medication but without the many negative effects. And the positive effects of this approach last long, as opposed to the temporary effects of medication, beer, and anything else you may have been using to calm down your nervousness.

This strategy is dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that was specially developed to treat borderline personality disorder (BPD) but which found use as treatment for mental illnesses.

Even if you don’t suffer from BPD, you will find DBT highly effective in helping you to develop the capacity to deal with anxiety, depression, worry, fears, panic attacks, negative emotions, and other related problems head on.

I know you might be wondering...

So how does DBT actually help with anxiety, depression, worry, negative emotions, fear, and related problems?

What exactly does DBT entail?

How can you adopt DBT to free yourself from anxiety, worry, negative emotions, and more?

Are there any scientific studies to prove the effectiveness of DBT as a remedy for anxiety, depression, and other related problems?

What will you need to implement DBT in your life?

If you have these and other related questions, this audiobook is for you so keep reading, as it covers the ins and outs of freeing yourself from the claws of anxiety, negative emotions, and much more using simple, easy to follow language.

More precisely, the audiobook will teach you:

  • The basics of anxiety, including what anxiety really is, its effects, and its causes
  • The signs to look out for to know if you have an anxiety disorder
  • An overview of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to and how these two can help you manage your anxiety
  • Powerful distress tolerance and Dialect Behavior Therapy mindfulness skills
  • DBT emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness skills to help you overcome anxiety
  • All about stress, what causes it, the signs to look out for, and how you can manage it to live a worry free life
  • How to overcome negative flashbacks, nightmares, and other traumatic stress symptoms
  • An in depth look into panic attacks, what causes them, the signs to look out for, and what you can do to help you deal with an attack
  • And much more!

Narration wooden and computer like.

Content ruined by narration. I regret wasting a credit on this book. Next time I'll check reviews more closely.
