Repetitive emotions

This plot has so much potential, but could have been shorter. Everytime someone looked at another character or repeated how they felt about them every time. Like Grim and Oro… we get that you hate each other. I don’t need to be reminded every chapter that they are your enemy and once had been friends.
That’s the just of the first 1/4 of the book.

The voice actors did a good job portraying their characters.

Really difficult

I love Alex.. but I feel like she made these villains impossible.. and at the end it was too hard for her to write a good victory so it was .. maybe not anticlimactic but.. I guess just a little messy. I thought this was the last book but apparently not! Which I’m fine with it was just .. hm. Still worth the read 100% I just have mixed feelings !!

This was much better than book 3

I really thought this was going to be the last book.
The story was a little repetitive.
Memory loss trope is not one of my favorites.

That being said I am still pretty invested in this story. I do really enjoy the characters.

Excellent narration and story. I love the new twists and turns that Aster wove. I am still Team Grim through and through.
