Why is he mispronouncing her nameeee

I’ve never been team Oro but this definitely made me understand him more! It also made me understand their relationship more, it always seemed so out of nowhere. I can’t lie it made me fall more in love with Grim too. I understand that Oro hasn’t felt in the past 500 years but damn this man felt it allllllllll instantly. It was cute but also kinda creepy at times. But my biggest thing is this man can’t even pronounce her nameeeee. 😭

My heart aches for Oro

I wish this could be a why choose book because the love Oro has for Isla just aches my heart. The pull he has to always have her in his mind is the kind of obsession one should have lol. Love the voice of the narrator and Oro’s POV. I did have to go back to the first book to check Isla’s POV at times too especially the Cave scene. Looking forward to Grims book soon!

The book was great! I'm still team Grim but I dislike Oro a lot less lol. But this narrator made me wanna scream with his mispronunciation of ISLA!

Team Oro

I’ve always been team Oro. I have never been able to get over the lies Grimm told her. Then we learn Grimm knew about Lark early because of this book. It just proves to me that Oro is the better man. He loves her completely. I hope they end up together.
Chase Brown was excellent reading this too.

Interesting

It was nice to hear Oros pov! I am disappointed that this audiobook wasn’t combined with Grim like the book is. Also, the only other complaint I have is that Isla is mispronounced for the entire book. Otherwise it was very good!

I like it excellent perspective from Oro to be honest I can't wait for Grim side Oro seems needed and just strained but he is very intense

All I heard was choppy and monotone Kai from Powerless, and unfortunately, it was just…boring. It didn’t give me anything. I genuinely now REALLY do not understand team Oro. There is no chemistry. No banter….This is stalking friend. That’s it. To be so honest; she could have kept this one. I’m sorry, boo. This one missed the mark for me 😕

Stalker or Sweet?

Besides the fact that the narrator didn’t pronounce our girl Islas name correctly this went for me personally, from reluctant love at first sight to devoted companion to stalker real quick.

I was never strictly a team grim girlie but I’m leaning more that way now after hearing how obsessed Oro was with Isla. Especially after she told him that she wasn’t interested in him. Then there proceeded to be numerous fantasies all while he’s being paranoid and questioning her intentions with Grim. That was cringy for sure. Giving major YOU vibes when Beck tried to move on.

Part of me wonders if this is his way of trying to take something from Grim because he believes himself to be the better option for her.
