Publisher's Summary

Forgive him, father, for Stephen Colbert has sinned. He knew it was wrong at the time. But he went ahead and did it anyway. Now he's begging for forgiveness.

Based on his popular segment from The Late Show, Stephen Colbert and his team of writers now reveal his most shameful secrets to millions (although, actually, he'd like you not to tell anyone). Midnight Confessions is a collection of Stephen Colbert at his most brilliant and irreverent.

NP243 Short & not so sweet

35 minutes long. Makes me wonder if he even tried. Could have added some new content. Bought it to listen to on a short morning flight to Chicago. Bad buy on my part.

They really phoned this one in !!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I have a 45 minute drive into work. I got tired of listening to news podcasts so I decided to download a little light "reading". Light is the correct word because it was over long before I got to work. and seriously, it sounds like some parts were recorded over the phone.

Would you be willing to try another book from The Staff of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert? Why or why not?

yes

Did Stephen Colbert do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

There was only one character so....yes

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

LOL.... no

Any additional comments?

The book is funny but, it's just recordings from the show. all of which i have seen. wish I knew that before i wasted a credit or paid $10.

Short but hilarious!

While this is a short listen, it is absolutely worth it. My husband, teens, and I are huge Colbert fans and we cracked up listening to this in the car. I'm sure it will get listened to multiple times. There are a few PG-13 jokes in here so you might not want to listen around younger kids. Audible 20 Review Sweepstakes Entry

Excerpts from live show, not a true reading

Disappointed, instead of reading they all came from the show, with laugh track. It would of been better if it was in a sound booth like most literature. Will not recommend.
