Publisher's summary

Claimed. That’s what Camille Bennett becomes when she crashes into the arms of Deacon Archer. Camille didn’t have a plan when she attempted to fight off a random attacker, but responding well under pressure has never been her strong suit either. She was merely grateful someone who could handle the heat happened to be nearby.

Deacon doesn’t hesitate to spring into action when a frantic woman begs for his help. No sooner does he get her to safety when Deacon decides that Camille is the perfect woman for him. If only she felt the same.

When Camille is attacked again, she has no choice but to turn to Deacon for help. He entertains her request, knowing full well he intends to make sure this never happens again. Just as things start to heat up between them, Deacon's temper begins to flare. But it’s hard to remain composed when it becomes evident that Camille’s attacks weren’t so random after all, and the woman Deacon is falling for could end up as collateral damage.

In a nutshell: When she's attacked out of the blue, he steps in to protect her from a lingering threat.

This small-town romantic suspense novel is packed with action, adventure, mystery, and intrigue. You'll be on the edge of your seat as they fall in love, and the suspense will keep you guessing right up until the very end. You won't want to miss this series.

Deacon and cami

Great love story. There wasn’t as much of the tactical side in this one as the 1st one but great story

Beautiful story of love and triumph

Every woman deserves a Deacon in their life. Such a beautiful story of love and triumph. After suffering a sudden attack and heartbreaking loss Cami was left feeling lost. Deacon came into her life in an unexpected way but left his mark immediately. It was so sweet how he knew from the second he saw her she was going to be his. I adored the way he helped her triumph over the loss and pain she was dealing with. It was a beautiful story to read but listening to the book the second time around really brought the characters to life and made the story even better. Highly recommend!

Just as good as the first

Camille was heartbroken when he grandmother passed away and never stopped searching for the true love that she heard so much over the years. She didn’t think it was something she would ever find, not the kind of love her grandparents shared.
After being attached Camille found herself needing to learn how to protect herself from the man that has attached her twice so she finds her way into Archer Tactical and Deacon is so happy to see her walk in.
After seeing Remi happily in love, Deacon wants what he has and when he see Camille, he knows she is the one for him but now he has to convince her of that. Can he help her to trust in him and see that they can have a special kind of love?

When love runs into you…

Cami is slowly recovering from the loss of her beloved gram when she is assaulted on the beach. She escapes from her attacker and runs away from her house so he wouldn’t know where she lives. That’s when she runs smack into Deacon Archer who is on his normal run. Talk about gobsmacked! Deacon feels that connection and can’t let Cami go. When Cami is attacked again, she seeks out Deacon. Over time they begin dating but Cami’s attacker is not going away. Follow along to see if Deacon can keep Cami safe and if they will have an HEA. Great cameos of Deacon’s brothers and Kai from book 1.

Too insta everything

Story has too much insta peril, love, physical healing etc. character development is really shallow. Was expecting more in the 2nd book of this series. Whole story was rushed.
