A.K. Evans is Even Better in Audio!

I read A.K. Evans’s “Obsessed,” Book 1 of the Cunningham Security series of romantic suspense back when it released in 2020. The love story between Levi and Elle was amazing, and I devoured every book in the series as soon each new title dropped. I just had the opportunity to experience the story in a brand new way when I downloaded the audiobook, and let me tell you that I was enthralled! While I remember the story well, the audio version brought more steam to the steamy bits and more emotion and danger to this suspenseful story. The fact that I already knew “whodunit” had no bearing on how much I enjoyed the performance. Aaron Shedlock is one of my favorite male narrators out there, so I seemed to find myself hanging on every word that flowed through my speakers. For the most part, Kit Swann did a great job conveying the emotion that Elle was dealing with throughout the story; however, I was honestly not a fan of her alternate voices which sounded strange to me (hence the 4- instead of 5-star rating). Still, this was a fantastic way to experience a love story that I adore with my whole heart!

OMG, finally!!!! Elle and Levi!

OMG, finally the audible version of one of the best series I have read!

This was the first series by AK Evans that I had ever read and I fell in love with her writing at that point! To have this series be released in audible is another thrill for me and I love to hear Aaron Shedlock and Kit Swann so needless to say the audible is incredible!

Elle, a singer but a shy one finds herself being tormented by a stalker and it gets to the point to where she goes to Cunningham Security for help and Levi pops in.
Levi can’t understand why he is so drawn to her but her safety is his number one priority! To keep her safe and to allow her to continue doing her job she loves so much goes on the road with her to help keep her safe but who knew that she would be attacked in her own home town!

I can’t wait to hear the rest of this series!

Intro to Cunningham Security!

3.5 out of 5 stars! I enjoyed this book.

Elle and Levi were friend adjacent; they knew each other through friends. They were attracted to each other but didn't act on it. When Elle feels unsafe she immediately goes to Cunningham Security. Levi comes to her rescue. From that moment on, Levi does whatever it takes to protect Elle and shoot his shot. Their coupling was almost too easy or maybe Levi was just too alpha. The stalker...PLOT TWIST... was so unexpected. Jealousy can really bring the green monster out of people. What was hurtful for Elle was the trust she put in this person. Kit Swann and Aaron Shedlock did an amazing job with narrating this story. They exuded the personalities so well!

Can read over and over and over again..

I have read this book multiple times, but it doesn’t matter.. still find little things I missed the other times.. and there is something different about h I gnit read to you.. loved it all.. always so happy for the HEA!! And so love that it is a series!!!! And to get the glimpses of the previous couples in the next books.. and love that each series leads into another series..

Romantic

I originally read this book as part of a box set. It was absolutely wonderful. When I discovered this author and I couldn’t read her books fast enough. This series is fantastic. Loved the romance and sense of family. If you prefer audiobook, the narrators Kit Swann and Aaron Shedlock did a wonderful job of making you feel you were living the story. At the beginning I was not sure I was going to like Aaron as Levi, but he won me over early on.
