Young love

At 21 Shannon had never been kissed and her dad asked Andrew/Ace to be her date at the gala.
10 years, a failed marriage, and a teaching gig in Germany reunite them. Someone is trying to mess with Shannon, in comes Ace to save the day. After whisking Shannon away to protect her, things are unveiled and reveled.
I loved this storyline as it has a lot of twists and turn, love and sexy romps and some edge of your seat intrigue. I would definitely recommend this audible version of the story.

A fast paced, intriguing, suspenseful, and thrilling journey to go on with Ace and Shannon. I enjoyed this book.
It’s always amazing listening to Mr. Teddy Hamilton, he is an absolutely charming narrator. Grace Grant was nice to listen to as well.

The spy who loved her!

Loved the narration by Grace Grant and Teddy Hamilton! This was a great story full of passion and intrigue. It was also about two people, Shannon and Ace, exploring a spark that they felt between them ten years ago. Once they meet again, would their feelings ignite a fire, or would it fizzle out? Really great romance!

Narration by Teddy Hamilton was spot on for ACE.. his girl voice is great. It makes me giggle. Where I would not choose Grace Grant for this character she performed it flawlessly and smoothly.

I have read a few of the Cocky Hero Club stories so far! I love this one the most! Ace is like the most perfect cocky name ever and Shannon is already so taken with him due to their past. Great Read! I couldn’t put down!

Good Story, implausible ending!

3.5 overall

This was an enjoyable listen that had an air of absurdity in the ending. If the ending was a wee bit (meaning significantly more) plausible, this would have been a solid 4 stars for me.

Both characters were likeable and the cruise friends were great. Slow burn for the first 60%,then a passion explosion.

A great HEA. The characters made me laugh smile, and melt. I love the romances that have a gap in time because they work harder for their HEA!

Mystery Second Chance Romance

This is a second chance romance with a mystery twist.
Standalone with no Cliffhangers.
She is in another country with a stalker or she is going crazy.
He never forgot her so was more than willing to help keep her safe.
Can they be together or will his job and lifestyle keep them apart?

Enjoyable fun

I love that so many Hero Club novels have Teddy Hamilton narrating because I love his narrations (and thanks to Audible Escape!). This one was spot on again and I loved his Australian accents. Grace Grant was good too although her male voice was a little forced but generally she did really well. My one thing is that I thought it was really difficult to differentiate between when the narrators said Chance (ie the character from prior books) and Chains (spelling? He was one of Ace's friends in security.) It was really confusing at some points.

Regardless, I loved the narration and the book was fun too. Ace and Shannon were meant to be but met at the wrong time, when Ace was starting his career in Intelligence and Shannon was just turning 21. Fast forward years later and Shannon is being stalked and Ace is asked by her mother to help. I thought that the stalker was obvious but then again, there were a few twists in there where I was like, huh, I didn't expect that! So the book kept me on my toes and was a lot of fun with cute banter and overall, a great couple. I really enjoyed the book and this installment to the Hero Club. I also loved seeing Chance and Audrey in this book. It's fun to see how all these authors envision their lives after their HEA.
