Publisher's summary

Chloe's scarred face makes her the school's freak. Her reflection is a constant reminder of how she got them. The man who scarred her haunts not only her dreams, but also her reality. Some nightmares don't go away in the daylight. Two men stand up to save her from the nightmares. Both are men of the mafia, waiting behind a door she doesn't want to open. Amo the soldier and Lucca the underboss. The Beast and the Boogieman. Who will she choose?

Very disappointed 😟

I wanted to love this book, but sadly I couldn't. I tried to force myself to finish it, and just couldn't. For some reason this book doesn't work I should've listened to the other reviewers, but I said to myself, self how bad could it be? It's bad I was falling asleep by chapter 7😴.
All I can say is thank god for refunds.

Amazing storyline and fantastic narration job

There are stories that you enjoy and then there are ones like this that capture you entirely. You hold your breath wait for what happens next and not wanting to pause for anything needing to find out. The narrator has a beautiful voice and was smooth throughout.

Loved!

I love this story. Chloe is definitely my favorite female lead in this series. Although not necessary to understand what's happening in the story, I think is definitely an important book not to miss, to fully understand Chloe as a character.

And the narrator is absolutely amazing. She does a great job of making the listener feel Chloe's pain and anxiety.

I cant wait to jump in to the next book in this series.

Eh...just OK

I loved Nero and Vincent, but Sarah Brianne didn't deliver with this one. The narrator was overly dramatic and there was a lot of repetition.

The story ended without much resolve. We still don't know who she picks: Luca or Amo.

Stop stringing us along!!

Nope

I’m sorry but the person who narrated this one was absolutely horrid. Plus 80% of this story is literally a rewrite of the first few books. Little to nothing new added. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one needs it unfortunately because I enjoy the author.

Not What I Would Consider A Romance!

This book should have been combined with "Lucca" this book just basically tells you minimal history about Chloe, Aamo, and Lucca. This book is more of a YA book, definitely not a "Hot Damn" on the steaminess chart as there is not one romantic/love scene in the entire book.
