We dragons are a simple people with simple philosophies. Like, why ask for something you can simply take? The rest of the galaxy tends to be too busy fleeing from us in terror to answer that, so I assume they agree.

The most baffling creature in existence, she doesn’t seem to get how this works. I have claws. Fire. A ruthless crew. She has an admittedly tragic backstory and a slave collar. The scales aren’t exactly balanced. And yet, to see her defiance, you’d think she held all the cards.

It’s absurd and breath-taking all at once. Which is why when others try and take my rarest of treasures from me, I must protest. Vigorously.

I did mention the claws and fire and ruthless crew, did I not?

Good

I did enjoy this book. It was different than I expected and I wanted a little bit more back story about why everything is the way it is and how is his form wrong??? I mean I get it but I think could be more. But I did enjoy the book and I do want to read the next one. I did enjoy the narration.

Horrible narrator

Gave 3 stars for what I managed to listen to but the narrator is so bad I only got half way through the second chapter. Same narrator for the sequels so I’ll have to pass 😕

Great to listen to!

This is the first book in this series and I really loved it! It was a fast paced story with great characters and storyline. Plenty of action romance and kick ass heroine. Oh did I forget also a really Hot Hero Dragon. This was fun book to listen to Lisa Ware did a great job narrating it. Kept my attention. Looking forward to listening to more from this author.

Great alien dragon romance!

I really liked this book! Carissa has been a slave her whole life. All she wants is her freedom. Of course that's not easy when she is a human in an alien world. Luckily she is captured by a domineering egotistic dragon alien named Tarion . At first they both despise each other. Tarion actually thinks there is something medically wrong with him when he starts to feel feelings. It was hilarious. That's the other thing I really enjoyed about this book, it was funny! It had me laughing the whole time.

I am looking forward to the next in the series!

Captured by the Alien Dragon

I really loved this story but it took me a few chapters to get into the story. The narrator was good but her voice was a bit monotone for me and I had to keep rewinding back because I was losing interest. I'm happy I stuck it out because the story and narration finally came together for a good story!

I just couldn’t

Three hours in and I’m sorry to say but I give up! I just can’t stand the narrators lack of distinction between character and I am bored to death with the dialogue. I tried, really I did. I hope others enjoy this more than I did. I typically enjoy this type of book based on the description but this one of the very few times I’ve given up.

Good book

This is my first time listening to a Stella classy book. I enjoyed it. It shows that love can blossom in the strangest place. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Captured by the Alien Dragon

I was so looking forward to this entire series but had a hard time getting into the first book and I tried three times. Now I am turned off from the whole series. I will try again at a later date and hopefully will have a better listening experience.

Lisa S. Ware was OK, not necessarily one of the best. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Probably better if you just read it

I'm not sure what didn't work for me with this book? It could have been the whiny dragon, the "I just want to be free" heroine or the over-the-top narrator. It might have been better read by the reader and just skip the audiobook?
