im at the part where shit goes crazy. its well written and im not sure the motives for the characters quite yet. Thank you for writing this book.

PS im a football nerd and in the 15th chapter it says blitzing is when the defensive goes after the QB to make him fumble. The DL always goes after the QB. Its actuslly when the defense brings a player that the offense isn't able to account for. ie: offense has 5 blockers and the defense brings 6 players to try and sack or disrupt the play.

Perfect Halloween Story

I love Duncan Ralston, he has such a diverse style. Helloween, is a perfect Halloween-style story no matter the season. While long, it has a super creative story, a well developed cast of characters, and all the spooky vibes. It's not super gory, so no worries if that's not your thing. The early 2000's setting is super nostalgic, and fun, especially for someone born in 1990 like myself. So much of the story, and the feelings the characters experience are relatable and familiar. This would make a killer movie. Don't let the runtime spook you, it's worth it!

Fantastic story and execution!! Brought me back to my childhood and all of my nightmares. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

the characters

I did enjoy the book. it went a against the grain on the who's gonna die first trope. there are a few parts that kind of repeat but pretty original story within itself.

The book, while a bit lengthy, is amazing! The writing is so descriptive, I could picture exactly what Mr. Ralston was writing. The only issue I had with the book was that one of the characters listened to Megadeath and, God help me, Creed. As a child of the 80’s, I can’t…. I instantly wanted to the character to die a horrible death! I mean, the only the thing worse would have been Nickleback! The book is great, so stop reading my post and buy it immediately!

This seriously needs to be made into a limited series!!! A movie would not do it justice!!!!

Great story!

Super long but really outstanding horror story written by one of the best in the genre and narrated by one of the best as well. Incredibly well written with great characters. Highly recommended.
