Story
There are many things that seem normal or average today that at one point in time seemed absolutely crazy. Smartphones, Wi-Fi, and even the electric light bulb were all groundbreaking, history-making inventions that started out as crazy ideas. Our see-it-to-believe-it generation tends to have a hard time exercising true faith - one that steps out, takes action, and sees mountain-moving results. Many of us would rather play it safe and stand on the sidelines, but it’s crazy faith that helps us see God move and reveals His promises.

Publisher's summary
I am writing this book to help Christian leaders in the workplace. I want to share how I applied foundational management principles that I found in the Bible to bring me success in the workplace. This journal is intended to be a tool to serve you as a Christian leader to help you grow in wisdom and grow in your ability to use the scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit to guide you to success in whatever leadership position in which you find yourself. I have called it a journal because it is my hope that certain entries will cause you to take pause and reflect on your leadership style, your approach to certain things and take a few notes that will help you to become more successful.

Story
Speakers often use the words vision, boldness, and influence to describe the characteristics of effective leaders. In The Most Excellent Way to Lead, Perry Noble makes the case that the heart of great leadership lies elsewhere. Perry, despite being voted least likely to succeed in high school, beat the odds against him. Today, he inspires 3,500 people every weekend to live for something greater than themselves. He credits this achievement to the leadership principles he has learned from the Bible.

Story
Men are not the enemy, and masculinity, contrary to what much of popular culture would have you believe, is the solution to what plagues individuals, families, and society as a whole. In The Masculinity Manifesto, author and podcaster Ryan Michler focuses on how a man can wield his power and lead others well with influence, credibility, and authority. Ryan refuses to accept the gradual and intentional decay of masculinity, instead he chooses to tackle the questions others are afraid to address.

Applicable to All
Informed by Ivan Thompson's vast experience and diligent study of the Bible, both of which add to the passion and validity of the tools espoused in the 25 Essential Bible Verses for Christian Business Leaders.
His ability to weave military and civilian experiences from all levels of leadership provides a walk through the entry level to senior level and forces you to look at yourself before attempting to influence others. Everyone is a leader in their own right and the ability to use faith based principles makes perfect sense. Leadership is about taking care of people, meeting them on their terms, and helping them be better and happy in their lives. As leaders we have to observe, listen, then act. Not a new concept, but we as human beings make it difficult. The Bible provides many lessons to support Thompson's use of "there is nothing new under the sun." Only the tools and application of leadership principles have changed slightly, since the way we treat each other is truly grounded in our faith and the saying, "Love thy neighbor as thyself". Mark 12:31.
Being a leader is a way of life, not something that is turned on when needed. The is validated by exploring the walk of Jesus, his disciples, and many others in the Bible. The 25 Essentials to Bible Verses for Christian Leaders illustrates the verses are opportunities to improve oneself and those around you for the betterment of society.

Great Information
The information was great but the narrator was odd, when he read scripture he went into this weird voice that I assume was his ideal of how God sounded. Pretty creepy to me!
