Paradigm shift

Rabi Lapin gave me a whole to perspective on money, how to make it, how to look at my business and so much more. This was an excellent listen. I am definitely adding this to my print library, and I'll be referring it to others as well. The narration was also easy to listen too.

THIS IS A MUST READ!

With my years of experience in business creation and management, team development, and customer service, I felt that I had a broad range of knowledge on this subject...and I do! However, Rabbi Daniel Lapin managed to take me back to school with the Biblical principles he shared. I strongly encourage anyone serious about creating success in business and life to study and apply what is taught in this book. Your work is truly a gift to the world Rabbi Lapin.

Pomp

Dilution parading as “ancient Hebrew wisdom”. This man’s idea that one can’t serve God in any way but a job, even to the neglect of one’s family, paints God as a slave driver. Moses took Israel out of Egypt but he could never get Egypt out of the people of Israel. I thank God that Jesus taught that we should love one another like unto ourselves. This infers that we must love and take care of our own needs before we can be in a position to do likewise to out nieghbor.

I agree that we should never retire but find a higher purpose because I’ve never seen concrete workers older than 60.

Btw God’s language is not Hebrew, the Holy Spirit (the comforter) is his language and God’s people is not just Israel. God is no respecter if man, he allows the sun to shine on all. Those who obey him love him and are loved by him. If these words flare anger then check your pride.

His Biblical statements are not inline with the Bible

This whole book is supposed to take concepts from the Bible and explain how to use those practices in business, BUT I have to stop reading/listening after hearing his incorrect illustrations of what is said in the Bible. In one example, he references Moses and is very wrong in how he portrayed the burning bush.

I expect a book like this to at least be Biblically accurate… otherwise don’t write it?

Thoughtful

Enjoyed the book. I am a faith based entrepreneur and would have appreciated a bit more education in business operations and how to apply biblical principles but overall very nice.

Some interesting stuff

This book was strongly recommended to me from an ambitious and pious friend. Most of what was said was good and made sense. However, like the how to win friends and influence people book, it left me feeling there was a degree of manipulation of others to achieve your goal. There wasn't really that feeling of doing good simply to do good but more for a finical gain. I am not overly ambitious nor do I have strong desire to be rich. I do not think of money everyday like the author. I felt about 75% of everything said was positive and truly good. I want to be comfortable and enjoy life without thinking about how money can be made with people I meet. I don't think i will be overly rich financially in life but I will be rich in friendship and my own career and life itself. Overall, It was worth a listen.
