A joyful glimpse into the golden years!
This is a collection of newsletters written about the experiences of Senior Citizens living at an assisted living center. The author likens life at the center to living on a cruise ship. The book is filled with clever musings of her fellow shipmates, the daily activities available to them, pets, romance, the changes they are experiencing in life, and the reminiscing of days gone by.
I have wondered what life would be like at some of these centers. It was nice to get a glimpse of that lifestyle through the eyes of one who is living it.

A Cute Collection of Senior Inspiration
Cruising on Prunes was a fun audiobook with many insightful and humorous short stories about senior living and ...prunes. More than a few times I found myself giggling. One of my favorite stories was about the cats but they were all good and entertaining. This was an overall short, fun listen by Bettye Bevan Strickland.
I think Sheree Wichard's performance truly enhanced the stories. She spoke with a southern drawl and had a lively tone. I'd recommend this for a quick, funny listen.
