Publisher's Summary

I've always known she was too good for me, but that never stopped me from wanting her.

And then I finally had her for one night.

A night I don't remember.

I figured I'd blown my shot.

But now she's walked back into my life, and this time I have the upper hand. I want my second chance.

Will she be able to see the man beneath this ink?

Sebastian York nailed it!

This is book two. It was as good, if not better, then book one. A few have complained that SY missed the mark on the accent. As a former NOLA resident I must disagree. He really did the accent justice. He had more of a Cajun flare not just a southern accent. This is more of what you will find from a lifelong resident of New Orleans. As far as the book itself goes, I thought it was excellent. The story takes place around the same time as book one. In fact in a few places the scenes overlap. Both narrators do a fantastic job and this book has made Megan March an automatic download for me. Go ahead and get it you won't be sorry!

Five Breathtaking Stars!

Meghan March knows how to write a romance that sizzles! These stories are extraordinarily written with fascinating characters who are multi-layered and grow as they fall in love. Their sexy and lustful inner dialogue, and banter between the H/h was so sweet, swoon worthy and brought a blush to my checks. Con was the perfect alpha male without being too dominate, and Vanessa was so much more than just a rich girl.

While things between Con and Vanessa were heating up, Con was searching for answer and on a path that could ultimately destroy any future these two could have. The suspense and the surprising plot twists, makes this so much more than a romance.

Arndt, and York's performance was fantastic, and I love how they bring the characters to life.

Loved this story, and look forward to the next in the series. The romance was SWEET, the sex scenes were HOT, and the plot and suspense were the perfect balance between light and dark. Definitely worth a credit!

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

Another great book in this series. I think I might have liked this one even better than the first book. Con is another great character, who knows exactly what he wants and goes for it. What he wants is Vanessa, a one night stand that has been on his mind since that night long ago. Van is upper class and Con is a Tattoo Artist (and so much more). Again the author gives us little drama!!! Love that! This book was hot and the love story is seriously great!

The narration was great too. I am a huge Andi Arndt & Sebastian York fan and the change of male narration is perfect because the character is different.

Good as the First

This second book didn't disappoint me after the wonderful first book. Meghan March does a great job of telling a fun story. There is a little bit of everything in this book, not just romance. There is suspense, thrill, excitement and much more. You can get a lot of enjoyment from this book. I thought Con was kind of a hound dog from the first book, but there is a lot of substance to his personality. Vanessa is also not what she looks like. The best part, Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. Great Narrators. Love them both.

Drop the Louisiana Accent Sebastian 😜😳

Narrators can make or break a book. There are some that I cannot listen to because it distracts from the story too much.
After listening to the first chapter, I almost quit because of Sebastian's horrible attempt of a Louisiana accent.
OMG, It was so bad.
Thankfully, he only used it on a few words after that and then throughout the book, he almost stopped, but a few of them jolted me into laughter and I couldn't believe the Editer/Director of this Audio didn't say,
"Nevermind, just say it straight".
This book was pretty good. Some parts of the story was a bit lame, but with Andi Arndt and Sebastian as the Narrators, it made it much better.
Just overlook their 5th grade banter at times, her eating disorder, and mainly the blackmale of her coworker and then turning into a hero? Didn't work for me.
If you get this book, which I did on sale thankfully, it is a good hot fun steamy listen.

Nice!

Liked this one a lot! Andi and Sebastian could read the phone book and I'd listen! Con was much more likable in this one than the glimpse of him we got in book 1. I really didn't like Lukas, which makes me wonder how I'll feel about him in his story. Overall, good storyline, good listen!

The Beneath Series is seriously addictive

Meghan March sweeps you away again in this second book in this highly addictive series. The story line is sublime and the hotness factor is off the scale. I can't imagine anyone else narrating this but Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. With both of them as the voices of the characters your time will slip away and you won't even care!

Good

Love listening to narrators except for York doing female voices. Do not like it. If you are going to have a dual narration then have York reading all male parts. In a lot of reviews I am not the only one that feels that. Audible books are for entertainment.

Hot bad boy ahead!!!

Where does Beneath This Ink rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love these narrators, and this was a good story, so I would say top 25. Hot bad boy with a soft side for kids. Well hello!! This love story was not love at first page, but not drawn out to the point of exhaustion. You really wanted these characters to work out, and the story was so well done, kept you interested the whole time.

Which character – as performed by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York – was your favorite?

These narrators always rock it, so any voices they do make me swoon.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think when she first learns of what he does at the old warehouse with the kids. I mean I fell head over heels for Con right there. It was great to see the push and pull (denying their attraction) of both of them as their story developed. They can't resist each other but try so hard, and as they learn more about each other and that things aren't what they seem- boom- leads to a great story.

I loved it!

He has something she needs and she can give him the one thing he wants. A second chance. But will Con and Vanessa get their happily ever after or will the past tear them apart. Beneath This Ink is book #2 in this intriguing standalone series by Meghan March. I highly recommend it! Loved the narrators.

A full five stars

It's official! I'm hooked. My new favourite series. I loved this story, loved the characters and loved the dual POV. Constantine (Con), super hot tattooed alpha male, goes all mushy for rich society princess, Vanessa. Although Con is not short of money, he still doesn't think he's worthy to make a play for Vanessa, but, it turns out that he has something that Vanessa really wants. Vanessa isn't happy about approaching manwhore Con, but he's got what she needs and she's willing to do pretty much anything to get it. The chemistry between these two was spot on, they were literally made for each other, you know what they say, opposites attract. The story, written beautifully, kept me on my toes, had me rooting for their happy ever after and had me hating on some of the supporting characters. An added twist at the end knocked me for a six. I loved it. A full five stars from me.
Andi and Sebastian, what a team!

Performance draws you in

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definitely. There is sex appeal in both characters and the persistence of the male protagonist really adds a fictional tone to this story. Clearly, in reality, you don't want an alpha male to even glance at you, but in this story it's the bread and butter.

What other book might you compare Beneath This Ink to, and why?
There should be several books thematically similar, but the performance by Arndt and York are unbeatable.

What about Andi Arndt and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like?
Being an audiobook, the most important feature is the performance. If the voice actors' voices do not draw you in, then the book is ruined (in my opinion). Arndt and York should do more books of this nature together. I am very pleased with their performances for the series.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It is easy to "feel" the characters. The language and scenarios really draw you in. It is difficult to stop listening for a minute.
That's how good this book and those in the series are.

Any additional comments?
I am looking forward to a 7th book.

Another fine offering

From Meghan March and Andi Arendt and Sebastian York. It may be the mood I am in but didn’t want to listen past chapter 6.
In my mind grown ups who control billions of dollars should have more of a grown up approach to life and the characters in this book just didn’t. I can’t go into detail without spoiling it but if you are irritated by characters not having the guts to stand up for themselves like teenagers then this book is not for you. But I’m sure it will be for many others. Meghan does weave a good story. I’m just not into it.

Wow

This story was a great romance between two kids one from one side of the tracks and one from the other. Both feeling bitter to each other when really it was to hide how much they loved each other, add a little twist and bang a great read. Narration was super awesome too.
